The Assemblers manufactures and assembles a variety of configurations of mechanical and basic electrical assemblies used in electrical distribution systems.\n What Will You Do?\nRead shop drawings and wiring diagrams.\nRead Bills of Materials (BOMs) to determine component parts and assembly sequences of electromechanical units.\nMake electrical connections according to specifications.\nAssemble parts, and position, align, and fasten assemblies, subassemblies, using hand tools and power tools.\nModify parts by drilling, tapping, countersinking, etc. machine tools, power and pneumatic hand tools.\nPosition, align, and adjust parts for proper fit and assembly.\nMeasure parts to determine tolerances, using tape measures and precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers.\nAttach labels and mark identifying information on parts.\nAdhere to all company policies, guidelines and practices including the SECRIT values.\nCross training to work in other functional department of the plant.\nOther duties as assigned by management.\n Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities\nTool selection - determining the kind of tools and equipment needed to do a job.\nOral Comprehension - The ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.\nAbility to operate cordless hand tools, power tools and pneumatic tools.\nAbility to read shop drawings and wiring diagrams preferred.\nAbility to read standard tape measure.\nAbility to work in a cohesive team environment.\nMinimum Qualifications\nO Level/A Level/ ITE or High School Diploma or equivalent\nOne year of experience in manufacturing preferred\nWorking Conditions / Physical Requirements\nLifting: Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs occasionally;
