Implement Lean manufacturing systems and strategy to ensure a safe work environment, maximize profitable growth, drive quality improvements, provide exceptional customer service, develop a technically qualified work force, reduce operating costs and lead times through continuous improvements. Oversee day-to-day activities to meet daily, monthly, quarterly and yearly expectations.\n What Will You Do?\nSchedule raw material replenishments and put-aways according to job priorities and reevaluate the workload numerous times throughout the day\nMonitor headcount and increase or decrease the workforce utilizing a temporary workforce to ensure sufficient capacity to meet internal and external customers’ needs\nEnsure that processes are followed and held to the highest quality standards\nEnsure that all MHE operators are following the proper processes and procedures that are required in the performance of their daily duties\nWork with the Assembly team and the Manufacturing Engineering team to analyze and solve workflow problems to maximize efficiency and product output\nLead daily materials meeting and provide status updates on production orders that have missed their scheduled production dates\nDirect the Returned Goods rework process and make sure that all RMA’s (Returned Material Authorization) are processed in a timely manner\nReview, update and manage the shop floor employee’s Time & Attendance records in the Time Management System\nReview product replenishment reports for our local warehouses and coordinate the assembly and transferring of product to fulfill the product requirements in those warehouses\nWork with the inventory team to investigate inventory discrepancies and help identify the root cause for the discrepancy, and then implement procedural changes to eliminate these root cause issues\nAct as a liaison between multiple functional areas to resolve issues that affect production and the delivery of products\nInitiate or suggest plans to motivate workers to achieve shop floor metrics\nInitiate and assist with the creation, development, and implementation of processes and procedures\nEffectively manage, develop, and motivate direct and indirect reports\nResponsible for all aspects of performance management including interviewing, hiring, training, performance evaluations, and recognition\nProvide effective, constructive and appropriate feedback and leadership to direct reports to foster positive, team atmosphere; ensure personal and professional development of direct reports • Initiate and assist with the creation, development, and implementation of processes and procedures\nConsistently support compliance by maintaining privacy and confidentiality of information, protecting the assets of the organization, acting with ethics and integrity, reporting noncompliance, and adhering to applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations, and the Company’s policies and procedures\nUnderstand workplace hazards and take steps to proactively prevent and report hazards or injuries in the workplace.
