This includes maintaining existing tooling/equipment capabilities and supporting new tooling/equipment builds for new products. Responsible for precision sheet metal fabrication and prototyping.\n Track and monitor existing tooling/equipment lifecycle counts and condition to determine when refurbishment or replacement is required. Plan capital budget to meet these requirements.\nProvide support at vendor and manufacturing facilities to resolve manufacturing or quality issues and keep production flowing.\nWork with Product Design Engineers to determine tooling/equipment required to produce new products.\nManage all tooling and equipment builds, repairs, refurbishments, and ECN modifications.\nManage precision sheet metal fabrication prototype shop.\nRFQ tooling/equipment at vendors along with piece-part costs.
