Conveyor Line Operator is responsible for accurately hanging parts on a conveyor line while maintaining productivity and quality standards. This position requires the ability to read and interpret move tickets, component drawings, and job travelers to identify part numbers and paint color codes. The Conveyor Line Operator follows the live production schedule and proactively pre-hangs parts.\n What Will You Do?\nESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:\nLoad and Unloading Components on the conveyor line per the live schedule start date\nRemove sort pem stud covers\nPre-hang small components on racks per the live schedule start date\nRemove puddled water from components before entry into dry-off oven\nMasking and Unmasking Components\nWork in the stainless steel passivation cell\nManual touch-up of metal components i.e. paint hook marks, hinge knuckles\nClean out washer periodically through the day for parts fallen in washer\nMaintain good housekeeping conditions in work area\nFollow ISO procedures\nAssist other departments during slow paint production periods\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nGENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:\nFollow safety rules, safe operating procedures and practices; help ensure all employees follow safety rules, procedures and practices\nActive participation in ongoing individual training/development programs\nSet goals and objectives with Manager; look for ways to improve quality and productivity\nCollect and organize hooks for weekly cleanings\nEQUIPMENT USED:\nHand tools\nPallet jacks\nCarts, etc.\nMES Terminal\nPPE\nPassivation Equipment\nStretch Wrap Machine\nShop Vac\n High level of self-initiative and dependability\nMust be willing to pitch in as needed;
