This role is integral to the company's commitment to delivering high-quality electrical and digital systems, and the successful candidate will have a direct impact on the company's reputation and customer satisfaction.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nDesign and build effective quality processes within the organization and work with all process owners to remove bottlenecks.\nUnderstand test methods and the operation of testing equipment.\nConduct product and process audits and plan daily inspection activities to thoroughly inspect final products and components.\nEnsure effective quality-checking activities to prevent errors in subsequent processes.\nConduct root cause analysis for product quality issues and present findings to senior management.\nConduct stage-wise verification to check compliance with stated requirements and analyze stage-wise rejection to control CONQ and first-hand rejections.\nProvide quick and effective solutions to quality issues.\nManage field returns and recommend corrective actions.\nEnsure timely analysis and resolution of customer complaints.\nCarry out calibration activities and ensure all instruments are calibrated on time.\nTrack quality measures and achieve targets for first-hand rejections, cost of non-quality, customer returns index, instrument calibration, and other relevant measures.\nConduct monthly SGIA audits and work toward achieving productivity targets.\nSupport Production and other teams on a daily basis to ensure product quality.\nTrain, develop, and coach team members, keeping them updated on the latest developments in the QA field.\nHandle customers during product inspections, compliance follow-ups, and factory assessments/evaluations.\nPrepare Manufacturing Control Plans.\nDemonstrate good communication skills and coordinate/collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.\nMaintain good knowledge of electrical switchgear/switchboards and applicable IS/IEC standards.\n\nQualifications\n\nFunctional Competencies\n\nUnderstanding of product standards\n\nKnowledge of manufacturing processes\n\nAwareness of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, TQM, etc.\n\nPlanning and organizing skills\n\nProduct qualification, PPAP, and PFMEA tools\n\nQualifications, Role-specific Knowledge And Experience\n\nDiploma/BE/B.Tech, preferably in Electrical Engineering.\n\n7+ years of relevant experience in the Quality department within the electrical switchgear/switchboard industry.\n\nAt least 2–3 years of experience in process, product, and quality system audits.\n\nQuality certifications such as ISO, TQM, Six Sigma, etc.\n\nISO 9001 / ISO 14001 Internal Auditor certification would be an added advantage.\n\nProficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), ERP systems, and technical tools such as SPC, SOC, and other quality tools.\n\nExcellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal
