As a Facilities & Janitorial Associate, you will play an important role in maintaining our production, warehouse, office, and shared spaces while supporting sustainability and waste management efforts. Your work directly contributes to employee safety, operational efficiency, and a positive workplace experience.\n What Will You Do?\nCleaning & Workplace Support\nMaintain clean, safe, and welcoming breakrooms, restrooms, employee entrances, and common areas. \nClean and disinfect shared surfaces, including tables, countertops, sinks, and coffee stations. \nComplete routine restroom inspections, cleaning, and restocking throughout the day. \nEmpty trash, compost, and recycling containers in designated areas. \nRespond to non-hazardous spills and general housekeeping requests.\nProduction & Warehouse Support\nSweep warehouse and production floors using a ride-on floor sweeper. \nPerform basic upkeep of the floor sweeper, including refilling water, emptying collection bins, and reporting maintenance needs. \nSupport housekeeping and 5S workplace organization activities. \nAssist with the removal and disposal of designated non-production waste and debris.\nWaste Management Program\nBreak down cardboard and operate or support operation of the cardboard baler. \nMonitor baler supplies and communicate replenishment or service needs. \nSupport and coordinate scheduled cardboard recycling pickups. \nMonitor waste and recycling staging areas to help ensure materials are properly prepared for collection. \nAssist with pallet, scrap metal, and electronic waste recycling programs as assigned.\nSeasonal & Facilities Support\nAssist with snow and ice removal when additional coverage is needed. \nShovel snow from sidewalks and employee entrances. \nApply ice melt to entrances, walkways, and designated outdoor areas. \nSupport basic facilities-related tasks within training and authorized responsibilities. \n Education:\nHigh school diploma or GED, or equivalent hands-on training and experience gained through previous industry-related work.\nSkills/Knowledge/Abilities:\nReliable attendance and dependability. \nAbility to work independently and manage routine and changing priorities. \nAbility to safely perform physical tasks, including walking, standing, bending, lifting, pushing, and pulling throughout the workday. \nCommitment to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.\nPreferred Qualifications\nPrevious janitorial, facilities, warehouse, or maintenance-support experience.\nForklift experience. \nWork Environment & Physical Requirements\nWork takes place in a manufacturing and warehouse environment where priorities may shift throughout the day.\nTeam members may occasionally support tasks outside their primary responsibilities to help meet business needs.\nThe role regularly requires standing, walking, reaching, climbing stairs or ladders, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and using hands to handle tools or materials.\nThe position occasionally requires lifting up to 10 pounds and infrequently up to 40 pounds.\nSpecific vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.\nReasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the role.\nAdditional Information\nThis position is designated as safety-sensitive under NRS 613.132.\nThe Facilities & Janitorial Associate works closely with Operations, Engineering, and external service providers as needed.\nThis is an individual contributor role with no direct budget responsibility.\nEqual Opportunity Commitment.\nLegrand is committed to creating an inclusive workplace where all employees are treated with respect and have the opportunity to succeed.
