The Cable Machine Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery that winds cable onto spools, ensuring efficiency, quality and safe spooling according to specific requirements.\n What Will You Do?\nSet up and prepare the cable machine by adjusting tension, speed and other machine settings based on the cable type and spooling specifications. \nCut and spool all different cable sizes using cable cutting machinery.\nTrack footage of cable on stock cable reels and update cable lot cards.\nInspect the cable during the spooling action to identify any defects and ensure the spooled cable meets quality standards. \nPackage (Strap & Skid) finished product \nPick and store cable in designated locations using a forklift\nAdhere to production schedules \nFollow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment\nOther duties as assigned. \n High school diploma or equivalent\nExperience as a machine operator in a manufacturing environment preferred \nExperience in a metal fabrication environment preferred \nForklift and walkie license mandatory\nBasic mathematical skills \nAttention to detail\nExcellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot machine issues \nTime management\nStrong communication
