This is a remote position. The Data and Analytics Technical Lead will drive the design, development, and maintenance of our enterprise data warehouse solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP BW/4HANA, SAP Data Sphere, Power BI reporting, and data integrations with Salesforce and SQL Server environments, strong data modeling skills, and the ability to work closely with business stakeholders and offshore teams to deliver scalable reporting and analytics solutions. This role will also lead the migration from legacy SAP BW to SAP Datasphere and drive adoption of Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, and Microsoft AI/Copilot capabilities within the analytics ecosystem.\n What Will You Do?\nTechnical Leadership & Architecture:\nLead the design and development of SAP BW and Data Sphere data models, data flows, transformations, and queries.\nArchitect and maintain BW data models (InfoProviders, ADSOs, Composite Providers, Open ODS views, etc.).\nEnsure optimal performance of data loads and reporting by following SAP best practices.\nGuide integration between SAP BW and external systems such as Salesforce, SQL Server, Power BI, or other data lakes/warehouses.\nPlatform Migration & Modernization:\nLead the end-to-end migration from legacy SAP BW/BW4HANA to SAP Datasphere, including assessment, data model conversion, delta migration, and cutover planning.\nArchitect hybrid data flows connecting SAP Datasphere with Microsoft Fabric and Azure Synapse Analytics to enable unified analytics across SAP and non-SAP data domains.\nIntegrate Microsoft Copilot, Azure OpenAI, and AI Builder capabilities into reporting and analytics workflows to deliver intelligent, AI-augmented insights to business users.\nDefine and enforce data migration standards, validation frameworks, and reconciliation processes to ensure data integrity during and after platform transitions.\nProject Delivery:\nManage BW-related deliverables across multiple projects from requirements through implementation.\nDefine technical solutions in collaboration with functional teams and enterprise architects.\nConduct code reviews and enforce technical standards and best practices.\nStakeholder Engagement:\nInteract with business users to gather reporting and analytics requirements.\nTranslate business requirements into technical solutions within SAP BW.\nPresent prototypes and final deliverables to business and IT stakeholders.\nTeam Collaboration:\nLead and mentor offshore development teams; assign tasks and review deliverables.\nEnsure timely execution and quality assurance of all development activities.\nServe as the escalation point for BW-related issues and performance challenges.\n Required Skills\n7+ years of experience in: BW/4HANA\nStrong expertise in:InfoObjects, ADSOs, CompositeProviders, Open ODS Views, Transformations, DTPs, Process Chains\nQuery Designer / BW Queries / Analysis for Office\n\nProficient in ABAP for BW for custom logic, routines, and enhancements.\nExperience integrating BW with SAP ECC, S/4HANA, Salesforce, and external databases (SQL Server, etc.).\nStrong knowledge of data warehousing concepts and data modeling.\nExperience with Power BI or other frontend tools connected to BW is a plus.\nStrong analytical, debugging, and performance tuning skills.\nHands-on experience with SAP Datasphere or demonstrated experience migrating from SAP BW/BW4HANA to a modern SAP data platform.\nWorking knowledge of Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Data Factory for hybrid data warehouse and lakehouse architectures.\nFamiliarity with Microsoft Copilot for Power BI, Azure OpenAI Service, and AI Builder to embed AI-driven analytics and natural language querying into business reporting.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExposure to Azure, SAP Datasphere, or cloud integration scenarios.\nExperience with SAP BW-to-Datasphere migration tools and methodologies, including the use of SAP’s migration cockpit and data migration objects.\nFamiliarity with Microsoft Purview for data governance and lineage across SAP and Microsoft platforms.\nUnderstanding of generative AI and large language model (LLM) use cases applied to enterprise analytics, including natural language querying, automated insight generation, and AI-assisted data preparation.\nSkills/Knowledge\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills\nStrong leadership and mentoring capabilities\nAbility to
