Maintains the radioactive material and medical accelerator licenses are in good standing.\nResponsible for radiation safety processes and oversight to ensure a safe work environment. Maintains clinicalcompetence of staffing across modalities\n\nCoordinates and participates in the implementation of new equipment and software including acceptance, commissioning, and training.\nOversees, advises, and participates in treatment planning activities. Collaborates with physicians, dosimetrists, and other colleagues to develop optimal treatment plans. \nPerforms or participates in clinical treatment procedures as required by regulatory guidance and departmental policy. \nResponsible for radiation safety processes and oversight to ensure a safe work environment. Examples: Push/pull patients on bed, stretcher (requires 29 lbs. push force), lateral transfers up to 50 lbs. of the patient's weight. Frequent to continuous standing/walking.
