The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and will have strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. This position will be responsible for sourcing parts and materials, managing purchase orders and vendor relationships, tracking deliveries, and ensuring materials are available when needed to support builds and day-to-day operations.\nResponsibilities:\nInventory Management: Monitor stock levels, availability, and material requirements to ensure parts and materials are available when needed\nParts & Materials Identification: Identify, research, and source the correct parts and materials required for builds and operational needs\nVendor Management: Liaise with vendors regarding quotations, pricing, availability, lead times, order status, and delivery requirements\nProcurement: Manage the purchasing process from sourcing and obtaining quotations through purchase order placement, order tracking, and delivery\nPurchase Order Management: Create, monitor, and follow up on purchase orders to ensure orders are processed and delivered within required timelines\nSOP Development: Create, document, maintain, and improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to promote consistent and efficient purchasing processes\nOrganization & Prioritization: Manage multiple purchase orders, suppliers, deadlines, and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment\nDeadline Management: Proactively communicate with suppliers and follow up on outstanding orders to ensure critical deadlines are met\nDelivery & Timeline Management: Track purchase orders and coordinate with suppliers to ensure parts and materials are delivered according to required schedules\nInternal Communication: Provide clear and timely updates to internal teams and stakeholders regarding expected delivery dates, delays, order changes, and potential impacts\nScheduling & Logistics: Coordinate shipments, delivery schedules, and logistics to ensure materials arrive at the correct location and within the required timeframe\nProblem Solving: Investigate and resolve supplier, delivery, inventory, pricing, and order discrepancies while minimizing disruptions to operations\nData Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date purchasing and business data within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, ensuring data integrity and reliability\nPricing Management: Coordinate with vendors to obtain updated price lists, verify pricing information, and accurately implement pricing updates within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, or a related field, or equivalent experience -preferred\nProven experience in purchasing, procurement, inventory, supply chain, or related experience - required\nStrong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously\nExcellent communication and vendor relationship management skills\nAbility to work effectively under tight deadlines and proactively follow up on outstanding items\nStrong attention to detail and accuracy\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.)\nExperience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central - a plus\nPower BI report/dashboard creation experience - a plus\nAbility to interpret and analyze data using Microsoft Power BI\nExperience in a manufacturing, production, engineering, or operations environment is an asset\nExperience creating or improving SOPs and process documentation\nBenefits:\n$60,000 - 65,000, based on experience\nFull-Time/Nonexempt\nMedical, dental, and vision insurance\n401(k)\nPaid time off and holidays\nOngoing training and career growth opportunities\nSchedule: Monday to Friday 7:00 am - 4:00 pm\nWork Location: 9240 Prototype Drive, Reno, NV 89521\nEqual Opportunity Employer: LEHR is an equal opportunity employer.
