Position Summary
Leidos is seeking a Project Officer to support strategic facilities planning, programming, and acquisition activities for the 363d Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Wing. This role drives short-, mid-, and long-range planning for ISR facilities worldwide, ensuring infrastructure projects are properly scoped, funded, and executed in alignment with Air Force standards and mission requirements.
The Project Officer develops and manages project programming documentation, assists Government Project Managers in defining requirements, and monitors cost, schedule, and performance across multiple facility and acquisition efforts. The selected candidate will also prepare and deliver status updates, reports, and briefings to senior leadership and mission stakeholders.
Primary Responsibilities
- Facilities planning - Conduct long-term and short-term strategic planning for Wing facilities across global locations.
- Project programming - Develop DD1391s, cost estimates, Statements of Work, and other programming artifacts to support funding advocacy and project execution.
- Funding mechanisms - Identify appropriate Air Force and DoD funding pathways for facility projects.
- Stakeholder coordination - Collaborate with host-installation facility managers and mission partners.
- Project oversight - Support PMs in requirements capture, cost/schedule/performance tracking, and acquisition documentation.
- Quality assurance - Submit deliverables and ensure compliance with Air Force standards and Wing expectations.
- Leadership communication - Prepare and deliver reports, briefings, and status updates to leadership.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree; additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- 4-6 years of experience in Facilities Management, Planning & Programming, or a closely related field.
- Strong understanding of Air Force Planning & Programming methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to lead project teams and drive projects to completion.
- Experience with facility project management and budget execution.
- Ability to operate independently and make informed decisions on assigned projects.
- Current Secret clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP certification.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience supporting Air Force intelligence, NAVAIR, USACE, AFIMSC, or AFCEC organizations.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $73,450.00 - $132,775.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
