A critical component of the NetCI program is enterprise IT asset management. The Asset Management Specialist supports asset accountability and logistics operations for the JPH NetCI program. The role is responsible for maintaining accurate property records, coordinating equipment movement, supporting inventory management, and ensuring compliance with DoD property accountability and chain-of-custody requirements for both standard and classified equipment. Personnel assigned to this role help maintain continuous asset visibility and audit-ready documentation across all program-supported equipment.\nPrimary Duties:\nProperty Accountability and Inventory ManagementMaintain accurate records of Government-furnished and contractor-managed equipment within the program asset inventory.\nPerform day-to-day asset tracking, equipment accountability, and inventory reconciliation.\nSupport periodic and annual physical inventory requirements.\n\n Asset Management Systems SupportSupport asset tracking and reporting within Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) and Enterprise Logistics Management System (ELMS).\nMaintain accurate system records for asset assignments, equipment status, and location updates.\nAssist the Asset Management Lead in maintaining compliance with system reporting and documentation requirements.\n\nLogistics and Disposition SupportCoordinate DRMO activities including equipment disposition and documentation.\nMaintain auditable documentation for property transfer, disposal, and lifecycle management activities.\nAssist with equipment-staging, warehousing, and logistics coordination.\n\nOperational CoordinationParticipate in ELMS/DPAS Warehousing Module training and system onboarding activities.\nSupport the Asset Management Lead during seasonal operational surge periods, including equipment lifecycle refresh cycles and major program events\n\nRequired Qualifications:\nClearanceActive Secret clearance required.\n\nEducationHigh school diploma or equivalent and 1 - 3 years of prior relevant experience.\n\nExperienceExperience supporting DoD asset management, property accountability, or logistics operations strongly preferred.\n\nTechnical Skills Experience with Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) and/or Enterprise Logistics Management System (ELMS) required.\nFamiliarity with DoD property management procedures and documentation practices preferred.\nExperience supporting equipment inventory, warehousing, or logistics coordination preferred.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nHands-on experience with:Receipt, transfer, inventory, and disposition of government property\nHand receipts and sub-hand receipts\nWarehouse operations and stock control\n\nFamiliarity with:\nSerialized tracking\nCondition codes\nTurn-in and disposal (DRMO / DLA Disposition Services)\nIf you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
