The Test Engineer will support the test of access control systems for a government customer. The successful candidate will support continuity of our customer’s mission by helping ensure secure, reliable, and uninterrupted availability of IT systems.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDesign, develop, and maintain test plans for web, mobile, and API testing.\nExecute manual tests to identify defects and report them to the development team\nCollaborate with developers and QA peers to identify test scenarios and automation opportunities.\nContribute to test planning, case design, and documentation.\nSupport the team with User acceptance teams to include roles, test scripts, reporting results and scheduling testing meetings with the UAT users.\nFamiliar with agile methodology and continuous feature testing\nStay updated with emerging test automation tools and techniques.\nRequired Qualifications\nBA/BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field 12+ years of experience.\nSoftware professional experience in QA with a focus on automation\nStrong knowledge of automation frameworks/tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Katalon)\nProficiency in at least one programming/scripting language (Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#)\nExperience in API testing (Postman, REST Assured)\nFamiliarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps)\nUnderstanding of software testing methodologies, SDLC, and Agile/Scrum\nStrong problem-solving and analytical skills\nDesired Qualifications\nAutomation Testing - Katalon experience\nGood knowledge of SQL for database testing.\nExperience with version control (Git).\nKnowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, Locust).\nKnowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).\nFIP\nIf you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
