We have offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields providing responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.\nThe applicant will join a group of highly technical engineers and analysts supporting the development of a real-time radar simulation product and a radar placement and search planning tool that are used for real-world trade studies and emplacement decisions as well as for performing warfighter training and certifications, integrated missile defense exercises, and system level testing. Share your resume with us today!\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nIn this role you will help implement and maintain CI pipelines within GitLab for two distinct software products (one primarily in C++ and another primarily in Java).\nThe role will also allow limited software development tasks for active contributions to the software development of one or both products.\nThis position requires working daily on-site at a government customer facility on a multi-contractor team and interacting regularly with the two software development teams. Through this opportunity the candidate will be expected to represent Leidos technically, professionally, and ethically.\nBasic Qualifications:\nBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related STEM discipline, plus 4-8 years of experience in software development including CI/CD pipeline development and/or maintenance experience.\nAdvanced degrees in STEM disciplines are also strongly encouraged to apply. The minimum number of years of experience could be reduced in view of the advanced degree.\nProficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.\nStrong understanding of Git workflows and contemporary branching strategies.\nExperience supporting Java-based applications or working directly with Java development teams.\nExperience supporting C++-based applications or working directly with C++ development teams.\nFamiliarity with Infrastructure-as-Code technologies including Terraform, Ansible, or Helm.\nStrong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across diverse technical teams.\nMust be a US citizen, possess and be able to maintain an active SECRET clearance.\nCandidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, area.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExtensive hands-on experience building, orchestrating, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in GitLab.\nBackground in full-stack Java development or deep familiarity with Java architectures, build systems, and dependency management ecosystems.\nIf you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
