The DISA CESO ITSS team provides network operations and cyber defense support to the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), enabling secure and reliable communications for the Department of Defense (DoD) and Combatant Commands (COCOMs).\nThis role is responsible for day-to-day health, maintenance, troubleshooting, performance, and security integration for Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD) and Citrix ADC (NetScaler).\nThis position is 100% on-site in Arlington, VA.\nKey responsibilities\nConfigure and maintain CVAD and Citrix ADC (NetScaler), including associated access components (e.g., StoreFront, Citrix Gateway) as required.\nTroubleshoot and resolve user connectivity, latency, and performance issues across geographic locations.\nPerform routine patching, system health checks, upgrades, and firmware updates for Citrix infrastructure, hypervisors, and supporting platforms.\nManage security and access, including Active Directory integration, user/group access controls, and compliance requirements.\nAutomate provisioning and administrative tasks using PowerShell (or similar scripting).\nDocument configurations and operational procedures; support incident/change workflows.\nRequired qualifications\nBA degree and 4+ years experience with enterprise virtualization architectures and Citrix technologies (e.g., XenApp, XenDesktop, StoreFront, Citrix Gateway/CVAD). Additional years of experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.\nHands-on experience administering and troubleshooting Citrix ADC (NetScaler).\nStrong networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, load balancing, SSL/TLS certificates.\nCandidate must possess an active DOD Top Secret level security clearance, and be eligible to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI\nCandidate must be willing to take and maintain a CI/Poly\n8570 IAT Level II Baseline Certification (e.g. CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE)\nPreferred qualifications\nCitrix certifications such as Citrix Certified Associate - Virtualization (CCA-V) or Citrix Certified Professional - Virtualization (CCP-V).\nIf you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
