It means creative solutions to problems using innovative design implementation and testing of systems and services with a focus on scalability and sustainability.\nSpecifically you will be part of a DevOps team transforming, supporting and maintaining a system of critical national infrastructure to public cloud adhering to engineering best practices.\nYou will be expected to work closely with team members and the broader programme to transition legacy infrastructure to AWS Cloud. You should be comfortable supporting other team members where required and interact closely with developers and testers.\nHighly technical in nature, in your role you will need demonstrable experience of transitioning legacy platforms to AWS.\nThe legacy platform utilises a wide variety of technologies so you must be flexible and quick to acquire new skills.\nRequired Skills:\nDemonstrable experience of implementing solutions using:\nAWS with Linux technologies\nInfrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Ansible\nDemonstrable experience of working in a DevOps environment\nExperience of applying security to all workloads\nExperience of working with CI/CD infrastructure pipelines\nDemonstrable experience of automating deployment and configuration pipelines of COTS software and promoting through multiple environments\nExperience of working Agile teams being aware of Agile methodologies (using Scrum or Kanban)\nExcellent communication skills\nCandidate must be a UK National\nMust be able to obtain an SC level clearance\nDesired Skills:\nAWS Qualifications in your area of expertise\nExperience of working with the Atlassian toolset (e.g. Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo)\nExperience with biometric systems\nClearance Requirements:\nClearance to Start BPSS\nClearance for Role SC\nYou must be willing to undergo SC or DV clearance dependent upon the security requirements for the role\nAre you ready to make an impact?
