The selected candidate will report to the Contracts Director and support all contract management activities for Government Prime and Non-Prime contracts.\nPrimary Responsibilities\nCandidate must be pro-active, forward leaning, timely, able to prioritize work activities and effectively and clearly communicate at all levels within the organization.\nThe candidate should have significant experience providing contract management and negotiation support for Government contracts, including RFP analysis, hands-on proposal development and review, development of terms and conditions, coordination of appropriate internal reviews, strategic contract negotiation, and contract/task order management.\nCandidate will be responsible for overall contract compliance of assigned tasks in accordance with contract requirements, company policy and procedures, and applicable laws.\nCandidate must be able to work independently as well as part of a team of contract professionals supporting proposal preparation and a portfolio of contracts.\nThe candidate must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills as this role will frequently interact (written, oral, and face-to-face) with programs, contracts, project control, finance, business development and with customers.\nParticipate in the review and analysis of RFPs to identify and mitigate contract risks. \nReview and negotiate Teaming Agreements, Nondisclosure Agreements, and OCI Mitigation Plans. \nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor's degree and 8+ years of related experience or Masters with 6+ years of prior relevant experience\nExperienced with Government (FAR / DFAR) contracting: Fixed Price (FP), Time & Material (T&M), Cost Plus Award Fee (CPAF), Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), Level of Effort (LOE), Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contracts.\nProven ability to solicit and process complex information and data to solve complex problems.\nMust have the ability to make sound business decisions, handle multiple contractual activities with potential short turn-around time, and work independently as well as part of a team. \nThe Candidate must have excellent interpersonal skills to include well developed analytical, communication, and presentation skills.\nThe candidate must possess the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external customers. \nAbility to identify and mitigate contract risks as well as coordinate appropriate reviews in accordance with Leidos policy and procedures.\nThe Candidate must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.\nPreferred Qualifications\nCandidate must be a U.S. Citizen\nCandidate must have a Secret Clearance\nIf you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
