It provides our war fighters support in their mission to keep threats and vulnerabilities as low as possible by ensuring their computer network is stable, undisrupted and secure. This will require some OCONUS travel.\nPRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:\n· Provide technical expertise to support the Combatant Command (CCMD) cybersecurity program and its functions IAW current architectures, which includes all hardware and software tools and sensors from perimeter to endpoint.\nReview security threats and determine/implements ACAS effective countermeasures IAW established ACAS policies/regulations/directives. \nAnalyze network or system changes/reconfigurations for security impacts (performs risk analysis/assessment).\nMonitor implemented security controls and report status. \nCompile information and support required cyber evaluations, inspections, assessments, and reporting tasks. \nDevelop recommendations for counter measures or process improvement based on lessons learned from security incidents. \nProvide exceptional technical expertise to support the Combatant Command (CCMD) cybersecurity program and its functions IAW current architectures which includes all hardware and software tools and sensors from perimeter to endpoint. \nWork in dynamic fast paced environments that require team interaction and coordination of efforts. \nInterface with both client managers and system users. \nOperate tools and systems that are required to support the Command's cybersecurity program.\nCollaborate with System Administrators for ACAS vulnerabilities. \nAssist in the enhancement of AFRICOM's Cyber Threat Capability.\nProvide focused operations/threat analysis on known intrusion sets. \nProvide remote support and/or travel to customer sites as required. \nAdminister and upkeep ACAS tools on backend RHEL servers.\nBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:\n· BA/BS + 3 years recent specialized or AA/AS +5 years recent specialized or a major cert +7 years recent specialized or years of recent specialized experience.\n· DoD 8140 compliance.\n· Working knowledge of supporting Operating Systems: Red Hat Enterprise, Linux Windows Server 2022, Windows 11, VMWare vSphere.\n· In-depth experience with DoD IT security requirements.\n· TESA eligibility.\n· Currently hold an adjudicated Top Secret/SCI Clearance.\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:\n· Experience in administrating ACAS/Vulnerability Assessment tools.\n· Experience with Elastic, CyberArk and Bitlocker.\n· Automation using Microsoft PowerShell, VBScript, or batch files.\n· Adaptable to changing circumstances and operational needs.\n· Understanding of Department of War Military standards.\nIf you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
