The successful candidate will ensure systems comply with government and industry cybersecurity requirements while supporting the organization's Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes.\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nLead and support the security accreditation process for information systems.\nDevelop, maintain, and review security authorization packages.\nConduct security control assessments in accordance with RMF and applicable security standards.\nCollaborate with system owners, engineers, and stakeholders to implement security controls.\nPerform security risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies.\nMonitor systems for compliance with cybersecurity policies and standards.\nMaintain Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms) and track remediation activities.\nSupport continuous monitoring activities, including vulnerability management and security reporting.\nPrepare documentation for Assessment & Authorization (A&A) activities.\nParticipate in internal and external cybersecurity audits.\nStay current on cybersecurity threats, regulatory requirements, and best practices.\nBasic Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).\n 3-7 years of experience in cybersecurity, information assurance, or security compliance.\nExperience implementing or supporting the NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF).\nKnowledge of:NIST SP 800-37\nNIST SP 800-53\nNIST SP 800-171\nFISMA\nFedRAMP (preferred)\n\nExperience with vulnerability assessment tools such as Tenable, Nessus, or ACAS.\nStrong understanding of security controls, risk assessment, and compliance documentation.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nExcellent communication skills both written and oral.\nAt least one of the following Information Security Certifications:CISSP\nCISM\nSecurity+\nCAP (Certified Authorization Professional)\nCGRC (Certified in Governance, Risk and Compliance)\nCEH\n\nAbility to obtain a Secret level Security Clearance.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nActive Secret clearance\nFamiliarity with cloud security (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).\nExperience supporting continuous monitoring programs\nRisk Management Framework (RMF) knowledge/experience\nSecurity Accreditation & Authorization (A&A) knowledge/experience\nNIST Cybersecurity Framework knowledge/experience\nVulnerability Management knowledge/experience\nSecurity Compliance knowledge/experience\nRisk Assessment knowledge/experience\nIncident Response fundamentals knowledge/experience\nSecurity Documentation knowledge/experience\nMicrosoft Windows & Linux administration knowledge/experience\nRemote Interview / Identification Notice\n**** Please be advised that during the interview, you will be required to keep your camera on, and your interviewer will be taking your picture for identification purposes if an offer letter is extended to you.\nIf you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
