In this role, you will partner with senior program leadership, technical leads, and engineering teams to plan and execute cybersecurity and IT modernization initiatives while managing schedules, risks, resources, and project deliverables.\nProjects may include new technology and application deployments, infrastructure modernization, cybersecurity enhancements, and migrations from on-premises environments to the cloud.\nLocation: Hybrid - 3 days on site at Adelphi, MD\nClearance: U.S. Citizenship with an active TS/SCI with SAP Eligibility\nStrongly Preferred Certifications: PMP and Cybersecurity certification\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nManage multiple cybersecurity and IT projects from planning through implementation, ensuring cost, schedule, quality, and performance requirements are achieved.\n\nDevelop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, deliverables, and resource requirements.\n\nDefine project scope, objectives, priorities, and success criteria in coordination with technical and program leadership.\n\nIdentify, track, mitigate, and escalate project risks, issues, dependencies, and schedule impacts.\n\nCoordinate cross-functional technical teams supporting infrastructure modernization, application development, cloud migration, and technology deployments.\n\nMonitor project progress and adjust schedules, priorities, and resources as requirements evolve.\n\nServe as a central point of coordination across teams to maintain alignment and ensure dependencies are effectively managed.\n\nProvide clear project status, risk, schedule, and performance reporting to internal leadership and Government stakeholders.\n\nSupport resource planning and assignment of project activities across technical teams.\n\nPerform project quality reviews to ensure deliverables meet program and customer expectations.\n\nFacilitate effective communication among technical teams, program leadership, and executive stakeholders.\n\nManage multiple concurrent projects while supporting geographically dispersed teams.\n\nBasic Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical discipline with 4+ years of IT project management experience; additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.\n\nExperience managing IT projects involving technology deployment, infrastructure modernization, web application development, cloud migration, or similar technical initiatives.\n\nWorking knowledge of cybersecurity practices and standards.\n\nDemonstrated experience managing project schedules, milestones, risks, deliverables, and competing priorities.\n\nExperience providing oversight and direction to small technical teams supporting infrastructure or technology deployments.\n\nProven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting schedule and budget requirements.\n\nAbility to proactively manage tasks and projects through completion with limited supervision.\n\nStrong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience communicating project status to technical and senior-level stakeholders.\n\nU.S. citizenship with an active Top Secret (TS) clearance with ability to obtain SCI eligibility.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience supporting cybersecurity, defensive cyber operations, Security Operations Center (SOC), or DoW/DoD environments.\n\nExperience managing cloud migration, infrastructure modernization, cybersecurity engineering, or application deployment projects.\n\nFamiliarity with Agile, DevSecOps, or other modern technology delivery methodologies.\n\nProject management certification such as PMP, CAPM, or equivalent.\n\nCybersecurity certification such as CISSP, CEH, GCIH, GISF, or another relevant industry certification.\n\nIf you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
