The work requires a basic understanding of GEOINT from collection, exploitation, analysis and product delivery capabilities.\nPrimary Responsibilities\nProvide data management and automation support to a specialized imagery and geospatial analysis division within a government or enterprise organization.\n\nAssist with developing a modernized data management workflow supporting multiple organizational programs.\n\nCollaborate with senior data scientists, database developers, and analysts to implement and sustain updated database processes and workflows.\n\nResearch and document existing data management practices, procedures, and system dependencies.\n\nHelp design improved workflows with automation incorporated from the outset.\n\nEnsure new workflows integrate effectively with modern database applications and enterprise-level application programming interfaces.\n\nEnhance existing models and simulations involving production, monitoring, and change-detection data.\n\nSupport additional data management and modernization initiatives as required.\n\nDevelop code and scripts, including the conversion of legacy applications written in multiple programming languages into Python-based solutions.\n\nImplement enterprise database management standards, processes, and controls.\n\nAutomate repetitive data preparation, validation, transformation, and reporting tasks.\n\nDeliver technical solutions that apply industry best practices to modernize existing operational processes.\n\nConduct data investigations using applied statistics, algorithm development, and collaboration with subject-matter experts.\n\nTranslate complex analytical findings and operational realities into clear explanations for non-technical audiences.\n\nCreate visualizations and dashboards from diverse data sources that are accessible and understandable to non-technical users.\n\nBasic Qualifications\n3-6 years’ experience in programming languages such as Python or R (statistical analysis), data preprocessing, and basic machine learning algorithms.\n\nActive TS/SCI with willingness to be approved for a Polygraph\n\nBachelor’s Degree in related field (additional years of experience can be considered in lieu of degree)\n\nWorking knowledge of ArcGIS, ArcSDE, ArcPro\n\nFamiliarity with: common data science libraries and frameworks, plus:\nPostgreSQL, Postgis, PgAdmin\n\nApplication programming interfaces (APIs)\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with workflow management systems, such as Flowable, and\n\nWorking knowledge of MapInfo/ MapBasic GIS/ database software\n\nExperience with data visualization software such as Tableau\n\nIf you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
