With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Leidos provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.\nPrimary Responsibilities\nThe position will support the Manufacturing Program Integrator supporting manufacturing activities across multiple sites to ensure appropriate planning, organizing, and efficient execution of manufacturing scope for the Common Hypersonic Glide Body (CHGB). The Deputy Manufacturing Program Integrator will work closely with Program leadership, Manufacturing Site leaders, manufacturing program managers/CAMs at the sites, and Finance personnel within the program and within Manufacturing to ensure clarity of the demand signal for manufacturing and to provide a clear communication path on manufacturing performance back to the programs.\nThe primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:\nSupport the Cost Account Manager (CAM) for the manufacturing content on program\nPartner with Program Leadership to identify manufacturing content in the program and coordinate make/buy decision making with Manufacturing functional team\nCoordinate manufacturing-related budgets/costs with Program finance and Manufacturing finance to ensure successful execution and appropriate capacity planning\nCoordinate hand-offs with site-specific CAMs on manufacturing content and establish recurring reviews to status cost/schedule/technical performance across the manufacturing sites\nPartner with Manufacturing site and functional leadership to drive cost and schedule performance in support of Program objectives using KPI’s and Metrics\nProvide variance analysis, rationale, and corrective action plans as required by the Programs and/or Manufacturing\nProvide manufacturing related inputs to Program leadership in support of recurring program reviews\nSupport the development of the manufacturing plan, as required\n\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelors in a technical or business discipline with 4+ years of experience in manufacturing project management with an in-depth understanding of cost and schedule management techniques for such projects.\n4 years of project leadership, or personnel management in a manufacturing program/project environment\nDemonstrated experience as a Cost Account Manager on a complex hardware production program\nExperience coordinating and organizing activities between a Program organization and an executing organization such as manufacturing\nExperience coordinating efforts across geographically separated sites and/or distinct functional groups\nDemonstrated experience in applying EVMS and reporting on complex projects using earned value KPIs\nManufacturing experience in one or more of the following areas - electronics, machining/welding, or complex system integration and test\nExperience creating and providing recurring briefings to leadership stakeholders on program/product status\nExperience with a program start-up, plant optimization and/or plant operations\nCandidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance\n\nOther Qualifications\nPreferred candidates will also meet some of the following requirements\n· Experience in manufacturing management for Defense, Aerospace or Commercial projects\n· Program/Project Management experience. PMP/PMI Certification a plus.\n· Manufacturing Engineering or Industrial Engineering training and applicable experience\n· Experience with AS9100 and DCMA standards\n· Familiarity with Manufacturing Risk and Readiness Assessments\n· Familiarity with the DoD Manufacturing Readiness Levels\n· Experience with Costpoint MRP\n· Experience working with Manufacturing Execution Systems\n· Familiarity working with cross-functional team with emphasis on Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, & Manufacturing\n· Experience planning hardware product realization efforts.\n· Familiarity with AS6500 manufacturing management program.\n· Proficiency with Microsoft PowerBI, advanced Excel usage, SQL queries, and advanced data reporting/management\nIf you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
