The ideal candidate will be able to support, maintain, and develop custom software applications and services. The DevOps Engineer (Tier 3) will be responsible for creating, testing, updating, and maintaining source code for custom software applications and services written in various programming languages and implemented in both Windows and Linux Operating System environments.\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nDevelop and/or modify custom applications and scripts implemented across multiple platforms\n\nMaintain custom software applications and services\n\nRecommend and implement improvements to existing software solutions\n\nMaintain system architecture to ensure versatility and consistency across multiple platforms\n\nProvide input to software configuration and system documentation, improvements to capabilities, build roadmaps, and update software as required\n\nAttend meetings and reviews\n\nCommunicate with internal team members across multiple areas, the program manager, and customer team members\n\nCommunicate with external parties such as mission partners and vendors as required\n\nRequired Qualifications:\nActive TS/SCI w/polygraph\n\nRequires a Bachelor's degree and at least 8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with at least 6 years of prior relevant experience. May have 12+ years of relevant work experience in lieu of degree.\n\nDemonstrated custom development experience using Linux based servers and appliances\n\nDemonstrated 3+ years of experience using Rust and/or Python to develop applications and services.
