Apply and share your resume with us today!\nPrimary Responsibilities\nThis position will lead the teams that oversee all manufacturing production control activities, which include:\nPreparing / executing MRP, level-loading capacity across production work centers, firming purchase requisitions and manufacturing orders, establishing correct order policies based on Make-Buy and commodity types, and maintaining accurate lead times in the ERP part master table. \nThis requires coordination with configuration management, manufacturing engineering mBOM releases, and production scheduling.\nThis is a key position in the growing defense sector that includes several types of manufacturing processes:\nMachining, welding, PCBA, cable assembly, clean rooms, painting, final assembly integration and testing. \nAs a leader across several production sites, it’s critical to develop standard processes, consistent KPI’s, daily / weekly / monthly battle rhythms, and network connections to share best practices at all levels of the enterprise.\nBasic Qualifications\nMust have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field from an accredited university and have at least 12 years of production control experience.\nMust have experience with the Costpoint ERP system, as well as PLM, MES and capacity planning software programs.\nCandidate must be proficient with Microsoft Office Products, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio and Teams.\nExperience leading others and working in a collaborative work environment across multiple sites and with multiple organizational levels.\nExcellent communication and leadership skills.\nStrong analytic and problem-solving abilities.\nProven track record developing and driving adherence to standardized, tactical execution processes.\nExperience working in multiple phases of the product life cycle to include prototyping, design and development, and full release to production.\nCandidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.\nMust be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance OR meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.\nPreferred Qualifications\nMBA or MS degree.\nSolumina MES experience to go along with required Costpoint ERP experience.\nDynafact Manufacturing System (DMS) capacity planning experience.\nLean manufacturing experience with Six Sigma certification.\nProven track record of process mapping and policy creation to drive standards that increase throughput, engages the workforce in adopting change, reduces waste, and improves quality.\nCPIM, CSCP or CPM Certification preferred.\nExperience with SCADA software and/or MS Power BI dashboards with the ability to write queries using data from external database sources.\nHuntsvilleManufacturing\nIf you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
