Our Mission, Vision, and Values guide the way we do business.\nDoc Control/CAD Technician Primary Tasks:\nMaintain, organize, and update project documentation in accordance with client document control standards and procedures.\nProcess incoming and outgoing documents, including engineering drawings, specifications, contracts, permits, and vendor submittals.\nEnsure all documents are properly reviewed, approved, and distributed to appropriate stakeholders.\nTrack document status, revisions, and approvals using client's document management systems (e.g., ProjectWise, SharePoint, or other client platforms).\nSupport project teams by retrieving, compiling, and delivering documentation as requested.\nMonitor document workflows to ensure timely review and compliance with project schedules.\nMaintain version control and ensure obsolete documents are archived or removed from active use.\nAssist with audits, quality checks, and compliance reporting.\nCoordinate with internal departments, contractors, and vendors to resolve document discrepancies or missing information.\nProvide general administrative support related to documentation, records retention, and project communication.\nComplete drafting assignments on Protection & Control, SCADA, Communications drawings including but not limited to Single Line Diagrams, Schematics, SCADA and Communication drawings, Control Building Layouts and Elevations, Panel Front Views and Cabinet Layouts, Wiring Diagrams, Interconnection Drawings, AC/DC Station Service drawings and other miscellaneous drawings as required by project scope\nComplete drafting assignments on Physical Electrical drawings including but not limited to General Arrangement, Electrical Plans, Electrical Elevations, Sections and Details, Foundation Plans and Details, Structural Details, Grounding Plan and Details, Raceway Plan and Details, Equipment Vendor Files and other drawings as required by project scope\nSupport remote office overflow CAD workload on a need and availability basis. This will require coordination with other CAD leads in Leidos offices\nWhat you will bring to the table (Basic Qualifications):\nHigh school Diploma or Drafting Certificate and 1+ years of prior relative experience.\nExperience in document control, records management, or administrative support (utility or engineering environment preferred).\nFamiliarity with document management systems; experience with AEP tools is a plus.\nStrong attention to detail and accuracy in handling technical documentation.\nProficiency with Windows operating system environments\nProficiency with Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, Outlook, etc\nStrong professional verbal and written communication skills within a team environment\nHighly organized and efficient\nAbility to perform tasks in a fast-paced engineering/production environment\nDrafting and detailing experience with AutoCAD and/or Microstation. Coursework and project work will be considered\nKnowledge of drafting principles, techniques and procedures\nProficiency with the manipulation of vector and raster drawing files in AutoCAD and MicroStation\nAbility to create and/or modify drawings from engineer-provided markups with a high level of attention to details\nDoc Control/CAD Technician (Preferred Qualifications):\nAssociate or Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution\nExperience supporting engineering, construction, or utility projects\nAbility to interpret engineering drawings and technical documents\nUnderstanding of regulatory or compliance requirements relevant to the utility industry.\nExperience with file sharing, document management and collaboration tools such as ProjectWise, FTP, SharePoint, etc\nExperience in 2D and 3D using AutoCAD, MicroStation, Revit and/or Inventor.\nAbility to understand and implement a wide range of client CAD standards\nProgram Customization, Knowledge of VBA and/or AutoLisp\nPDSSUBSTATION\nPowerDelivery\nIf you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
