Apply and share your resume with us today!\nPrimary Responsibilities\nEnsure that proper documentation is made on training record for training received, and signed by Lead, Supervisor, or Manager.\nExperience working with design engineers, manufacturing engineers, and technicians to develop a build strategy and identify any problems that could occur during assembly.\nKnowledge of the tools used for assembly, integration, and testing (Pull Test machines, Data Loggers, Vacuum Overs, UV Cleaner, Boring Machines, and Crane and Rigging operations) and the proper techniques required to use these tools. Experience reading mechanical assembly drawings, shop work instructions, and other manufacturing documentation.\nHelp monitor inventory and supplies and ensure correct usage.\nUnderstand process and quality procedures and communicate them to less experienced team members.\nCommunicate with supervisors, managers, and quality regarding issues affecting quality of productivity.\nAssists in the development of bills of material and labor cost estimates for proposals and budgeting.\nPerforms other related duties as assigned by management.\nComply with all Company policies, procedures, and regulations.\nBasic Qualifications\nHigh school diploma/GED with at least 3 years of aerospace manufacturing experience in electrical/mechanical assembly experience or relevant electrical/mechanical assembly experience.\nSkillful knowledge of power tools, hand tools, and assembling structures with the ability to learn the integration of large structures for DoD or aerospace is required.\nMust be able to lift and carry up to 35 lbs. Must be adept with hand tools including drills, grinders, wrenches and screwdrivers, impact rivet guns, rivet puller. \nMust be capable of reading and interpreting drawings, specifications and work instructions. \nMust have the aptitude to learn and utilize production work orders, documents, drawings, specifications, and written or oral instructions to perform tasks necessary to meet production requirements. \nThis job operates in a machine shop environment. Must be able to remain in a stationary position for half of the time and the rest of the time standing/walking for long periods. \nThis role routinely uses standard hand tools. Use of PPE is required.\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate with staff. \nFrequently required to deburr and grind, with multiple types of hand tools. \nCandidate will be required to move, reach, lift, feel, inspect, detect, and handle metal parts and perform other duties as assigned by manager. \nMust be able to work occasional overtime as operational needs demand. \nMust be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance OR meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.\nPreferred Qualifications\nCostpoint/Solumina/Agile/Windchill. \nEffective Communication Skills. \nPlanning/Scheduling Experience.\nHuntsvilleManufacturing\nIf you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
