This role plays a key part in the FAA’s Brand-New Air Traffic Control System (BNATCS) modernization initiative-helping design, engineer, and deploy next-generation air traffic control infrastructure across the National Airspace System.\nWhat You’ll Do\nConduct site surveys to assess infrastructure needs for BNATCS deployments.\nDevelop detailed site preparation requirements and cost estimates.\nReview contractor proposals to ensure technical accuracy and compliance.\nCoordinate with FAA Service Centers, Technical Services, Air Traffic, and other stakeholders to manage risks and keep projects on track.\nSchedule and support site preparation, installation, and commissioning activities.\nProvide regular project status updates to leadership.\nMaintain Corporate Work Plan data, project documentation, and facility drawing updates.\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering.\n4 years of relevant experience preferred (candidates with less experience considered based on education, technical aptitude, and internships).\nAbility to travel 25-50%.\nAbility to obtain FAA Public Trust Suitability (U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder with 3 years’ residency).\nProficiency with Microsoft Office.\nExperience with AutoCAD or similar CAD software.\nDesired Qualifications\nStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to coordinate across diverse stakeholder groups.\nDemonstrated professionalism, collaboration skills, and the ability to work in multidisciplinary environments.\nInitiative, adaptability, and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced technical setting.\nSound judgment, accountability, and openness to feedback and growth.\nIf you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
