This role is responsible for implementation, operations, and maintenance of load balancer technologies in a global enterprise across multiple networks. Duties include upgrading to new technologies, tuning performance, and implementation of critical system patches. This infrastructure may include on-premises and cloud resources. This individual will work in a team environment to ensure mission needs are met for internal and external customers. This position is now available in multiple locations and offers the opportunity to work from any of our key sites in Alexandria, VA, Omaha, NE; or Millington, TN.\nPrimary Tasks:\nEnsure Secure Socket Layer/Transport Layer Security (SSL/TLS) offloading and brokering PKI authentication features provided by the F5 appliance is operational at all times.\nEnsure load balancing configurations and PKI certificates are backed up in accordance with customer policies.\nAlert load balancing and reverse proxy customers prior to PKI certificate expiration and assist with certificate renewals as necessary.\nCreate, manage, and troubleshoot load balanced IP address spaces.\nDevelop and implement technical solutions in collaboration with engineers and architects.\nProvide after-hours support to 24/7/365 IT Operations Center personnel to assist with troubleshooting service outages.\nDevelop and update technical solutions, operating procedures and other documentation for 24/7/365 IT Operations Center personnel to assist with initial troubleshooting and triage efforts.\nBasic Qualifications\nExperienced in administering and managing F5 load balancer appliances in an enterprise environment.\nKnowledge of standards, concepts, and tools to be able to complete technology monitoring and management of F5 appliances.\nTechnical knowledge backing up PKI certificates and appliance configurations.\nExperience creating, managing, and troubleshooting load balanced IP address spaces. \nExperience working independently in support of customer requirements.\nExperience interfacing with team members on requirements and solutions.\nFamiliar with IT Service Management products such as ServiceNow.\n Certifications\nCandidate must, at a minimum, meet DoDM 8140.03 (previously DoD 8570) - IT System Admin Intermediate certification requirements (Cloud+, GICSP, SSCP, Security+ CE, GSEC, or higher).\nCandidate must possess an F5 Certified Administrator (201) or higher certification.\nEducation\nHigh School Diploma with 8+ years of relevant experience, Associate’s with 6+ years of experience, Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 4+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with 2 years of experience.\nSecurity Clearance\nDue to the nature of the government contracts we support, US Citizenship is required.\nTS/SCI with Poly required for Position or TS/SCI and willingness to get a poly.\nIf you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
