The selected candidate will support engineering teams and customers in both laboratory and field environments, ensuring systems meet operational, quality, and performance requirements.\nThis position requires a self-motivated professional capable of working independently and collaboratively in support of mission-critical projects. The role includes travel to customer and project sites up to 50% of the time to support system installations, inspections, upgrades, testing, and sustainment activities.\nPrimary Responsibilities\nPerform installation, configuration, maintenance, and repair of electrical, mechanical, and electronic systems.\nConduct troubleshooting and root-cause analysis of system and equipment failures.\nSupport system integration, verification, validation, and acceptance testing activities.\nExecute preventive and corrective maintenance procedures in accordance with established standards and technical documentation.\nCollect, analyze, and document technical data, test results, and field observations.\nAssist engineers in evaluating system performance and implementing technical solutions.\nCoordinate with customers, engineers, project managers, subcontractors, and field personnel to ensure successful project execution.\nMaintain accurate records, reports, and maintenance documentation.\nEnsure compliance with applicable safety, quality, security, and environmental requirements.\nTravel to customer locations and operational sites as required to support project objectives.\nBasic Qualifications\nHigh School Diploma or GED\n2-5 years of experience supporting engineering, maintenance, field service, or technical operations.\nExperience troubleshooting electrical, electronic, mechanical, or integrated systems.\nAbility to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and engineering documentation.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite\nAbility to lift equipment up to 50 pounds and work in laboratory, industrial, and field environments.\nAbility and willingness to travel up to 50%.\nActive Secret security clearance or ability to obtain and maintain one.\nPreferred Qualifications\nAssociate’s degree in a related technical field.\nExperience supporting government, defense, energy, aviation, telecommunications, or critical infrastructure programs.\nFamiliarity with test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, or diagnostic tools.\nExperience supporting system installation, integration, or field deployments.\nKnowledge of quality management systems and technical documentation processes.\n· Experience with cranes and weight handling operations at sea\n· Evaluation of the suitability of maritime assets for meeting project requirements\nDesired Skills\nTechnical troubleshooting and diagnostics\nField service operations\nSystem integration and testing\nHand and power tools\nFiber-optics experience\nSoldering experience\nRoot-cause analysis\nPreventive and corrective maintenance\nTechnical documentation\nCustomer support and engagement\nSafety and quality compliance\nLogistics support\nTeam collaboration and independent problem solving\n· Must also be able to:\no A.
