The systems you support help enable coordinated response during public health emergencies, natural disasters, and other national incidents.\nIn this mission-critical role, you will design, build, and maintain custom software solutions and enterprise application configurations that support the nation's emergency preparedness and response capabilities. You'll develop front-end and back-end functionality, configure and support WebEOC and Microsoft 365 applications, build Power BI dashboards, automate operational workflows, and leverage AI-enabled productivity tools to improve emergency response operations. You will also work directly with Government stakeholders and end users to implement system enhancements, support daily operations, and ensure mission readiness.\nThis position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on development across the full stack - building and integrating web applications, automating business processes, and configuring enterprise platforms - while working directly with customers to solve operational challenges.\nThis position is full-time onsite in Atlanta, Georgia. Remote work is not available.\nU.S. Citizen or Green Card holder with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.\nWhy Join This Team?\nSupport a mission that directly contributes to national emergency preparedness.\nWork across the full technology stack - from JavaScript/HTML5/CSS3 front-end development to Java-based back-end services - alongside modern platforms like WebEOC, Microsoft 365, Power BI, and workflow automation tools.\nCollaborate with Federal emergency response professionals.\nHelp improve systems that support critical public health and emergency response operations.\nPrimary Responsibilities\nDesign, develop, and maintain full stack software solutions, including front-end interfaces (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript) and back-end services (Java, JSON, XML, APIs/web services).\nConfigure, administer, and maintain WebEOC (or similar enterprise applications) supporting emergency preparedness and operational response.\nConfigure forms, workflows, routing logic, role-based access controls (RBAC), and application settings.\nDevelop and maintain Power BI dashboards and operational reports.\nDesign and implement workflow automations, using either custom code or low-code/no-code tools (e.g., Microsoft Power Platform) as appropriate to the use case.\nIntegrate applications and data sources using APIs, JSON, and XML to support interoperability across systems.\nSupport users by troubleshooting application and code-level issues, implementing approved enhancements, and providing technical guidance.\nUtilize Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar AI tools to improve documentation, reporting, development efficiency, and operational processes while following Government-approved AI governance practices.\nPrepare and maintain technical documentation, configuration guides, operational runbooks, and training materials.\nSupport configuration management, change control, system testing, and application sustainment activities.\nCollaborate with Government stakeholders to implement approved system enhancements and maintain operational readiness.\nSupport emergency operations and surge activities as required.\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline, and 4+ years of relevant experience.\nDemonstrated full stack development experience, including front-end development (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript) and back-end development (Java, JSON, XML, RESTful/SOAP web services, or similar).\nExperience with either: (a) enterprise low-code/no-code platforms such as Microsoft Power Platform, SharePoint, Salesforce, or Microsoft Dynamics, OR (b) custom application development using Java-based frameworks - candidates with strength in both are strongly preferred.\nExperience developing dashboards using Microsoft Power BI or equivalent reporting tools.\nExperience designing or supporting workflow automation (custom-coded or via Power Automate/comparable platforms).\nExperience using AI productivity tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar technologies to improve workflows, documentation, or development efficiency.\nStrong troubleshooting, analytical, and customer support skills.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience administering WebEOC or emergency management systems.\nServiceNow experience.\nExperience supporting Federal Government agencies or emergency management organizations.\nExperience with Microsoft Power Platform, SharePoint Online, and Microsoft 365 administration.\nExperience with API integration, data interoperability, or systems integration projects.\nExperience developing technical documentation, operational runbooks, or user training materials.\nFamiliarity with Section 508 accessibility requirements.\nExperience supporting regulated or compliance-driven environments.\nOperational Requirements\nBecause this position directly supports the Strategic National Stockpile's emergency response mission, team members are expected to support operational readiness outside normal business hours when required.\nFull-time onsite in Atlanta, Georgia.\nParticipation in an on-call rotation is required.\nMust be available for 24x7 on-call support and able to respond to mission alerts within 15 minutes, with the ability to report to the designated work location within 90 minutes when recalled.\nMust carry a mobile phone while on call.\nMust be able to prioritize multiple tasks and perform effectively during time-sensitive emergency response activities.\nMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds when supporting operational activities.\nWhy Join Leidos?\nThe Strategic National Stockpile plays a critical role in protecting the nation's public health during emergencies.
