PSPD supports the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and CBP critical missions, specifically screening and processing travelers at the ports of entry (POEs) into the United States.\nIn this hands-on position, you will work collaboratively to architect, design, build, deliver, and enhance highly available, scalable, real-time systems. You will exercise your judgment in determining and recommending the best designs based on customer business objectives, timelines, and other resource constraints. You will participate in and/or direct major deliverable of projects through all aspects of the software development life cycle including scope and work estimation, architecture and design, coding, and unit testing.\n**This position REQUIRES the candidate to be in Ashburn, VA, twice a week**\nBasic Qualifications:\nBS/BA degree and 12 years of related experience or Master’s with 10 years of related experience; OR 4 years of related experience in lieu of degree\n\nMust be able to maintain and obtain a CBP Background Investigation prior to start\n\nMust be a US citizen\n\nExperience working with AI/ML as an integral part of executing the software lifecycle and/or implementing AI/ML solutions to support mission\n\nExperience with Agile Scrum methodology and working in a SecDevOps environment\n\nExperience working with containerized applications preferably utilizing Konvoy\n\n3+ years’ experience developing cloud ready applications and/or experience migrating applications to the cloud.\n\n2+ years of experience in one of the following: JAVA, JSF, JavaScript, Spring, Automated test tools such as Selenium.\n\nMinimum 2 years of experience in at least 2 of the following: React, Angular, Redux, HTML, CSS, JSX, bootstrap, ES6, Redux, JWT, JSON, Babel, Webpack, Axios, NPM, Node.\n\nProficient in JAVA, JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model\n\nThorough understanding of React and Angular and its core principles\n\n2+ years experience with Microservices/RESTful APIs\n\nExpertise with Axios framework to work with rest services.\n\nHands on experience with HTML/CSS/Bootstrap\n\nHands on experience of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token (JWT)\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nHands on experience with Gemini Enterprise AI Platform\n\nHands on working experience with Redux Store for session management.\n\nHands on experience with more current specifications of EcmaScript (ES6)\n\nExperience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, Node etc.\n\nA knack for benchmarking and optimization is plus.\n\nAWS Developer or Solutions Architect certifications\n\nActive Full CBP BI\n\nExperience with Google Cloud\n\nIf you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
