In this hands-on position, you will work collaboratively to architect, design, build, deliver, and enhance highly available, scalable, real-time systems. You will participate in and/or direct major deliverables of projects through all aspects of the software development lifecycle including scope and work estimation, architecture and design, coding and unit testing. The team lead will direct an Agile development team to successfully support all design, creation, maintenance, and testing of JAVA full stack applications.\n**This position REQUIRES the candidate to be On-site in Ashburn, VA, minimum 2 days a week**\n\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nGuide team development efforts towards successful project delivery.\nDirectly guide, mentor, and coach a team of three senior developers.\nDevelop and integrate AI/GenAI capabilities into enterprise solutions, including AI-powered chatbots, LLM integrations. Prompt engineering, API integration.\nMonitor team performance; resolve impediments; develop and implement solutions for driving improvement.\nLead application architecture, technical design, development, code reviews, integration testing, deployment, and production support across the SDLC\nLead Program Increment (PI) Planning from technical aspect. Grooming the objectives and providing technical details, work on architecture.\nLead cross-team collaboration in support of development, testing, and deployment efforts\nBrief customers on the development progress throughout the PI cycle on program status, including the status of testing, deployment, and release readiness\nMaintain application posture for code coverage and ensure the CM process defined is working for the team.\nBuild the front-end of applications through appealing visual design and define needs for build APIs.\nProvide technical leadership to cross-functional development teams, establish coding standards, conduct design/code reviews, and drive engineering best practices.\nIdentify and encourage areas for growth and improvement within the team.\nCollaborate with government customers on requirements development.\nLead technical discussions with architects, product owners, developers and business stakeholders translating into scalable technical solutions.\n\nBasic Qualifications:\nBA/BS and 12+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10+ years of prior relevant experience OR 4 years of directly related experience in lieu of degree\nMinimum of 5 years of Tech lead experience\nTechnical Lead with experience designing and delivering scalable Java Full stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, Rest APIs, microservices, and modern front-end technologies.\nExperience working with AI/ML as an integral part of executing the software lifecycle and/or implementing AI/ML solutions to support mission\nMust have experience in evaluating emerging AI technologies and development tools and identifying opportunities to improve application productivity, automation and operational efficiency.\n8 years of hands-on experience using at least 6 the following, but not limited to:\no React, Angular, JavaScript, CSS, & HTML, Springboot, Material UI, JAVA etc.\no AWS Cloud, Amazon Elastic Kubernete Service (EKS), Ansible, GIT, Rafay\no RESTful Web Services, Hibernate, Oracle/ MySQL/Postgres, microservices, Springboot, Java.\nMust have experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and automations tools.\nMust be able to maintain and obtain a CBP Background Investigation prior to start\nExperience with wireframe software to formulate effective mockups.\nMust be a self-starter, strong leader, and can work independently with little supervision.\nKnowledge of software design patterns.\nProficiency with common Agile practices, service-oriented environments, and better development practices.\nExperience with Jira, Confluence.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nHands on experience with Gemini Enterprise AI Platform\nExperience integrating Google cloud/AWS AI services and APIs with enterprise applications.\nActive DOD Top Secret or DHS CBP BI\nSolid experience as a full stack Java developer.\nAWS, Microservices, User experience , containerization, CI/CD\nExperience in AWS App Development\nHands on data reporting, through web/html or Power BI platforms\nIf you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
