Selected candidate can work within US.\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nServes as a Human Resources Specialist (Classification) responsible for providing position classification and evaluation support to Lines of Business and Staff Offices.\nApplies comprehensive knowledge and experience in Federal position classification.\nDevelops job descriptions and classifies positions in accordance with applicable position classification standards. \nImplements standardized position descriptions for a variety of occupations, when applicable. \nAdvises managers on how to design positions for a complex organization. \nMaintains and ensures position classification accuracy and consistency in interpreting and applying classification standards.\nKeeps abreast of classification appeal decisions to determine organizational impact and impact on classification practice. \nProvides management with insight in establishing organizational structures that are efficient, cost effective, and will support desired grade/band levels.\nAdvises management on the accepted principles and rules of judgment in analyzing contentious and complex individual position and organization structure issues.\nCommunicates internal classification policies and procedures. \nProvides a variety of high-level classification operational and consultative services including quality control of daily classification activities to ensure consistency in decisions as well as compliance with policies, guidelines and procedures.\nMay conduct position reviews and desk audits as assigned to appropriately assess the proper pay plan, title, series and grade/band level of a variety of positions. \nThoroughly develops audit reports. \nMay act as a point of contact to provide advice and guidance on the application of policies and procedures. \nMay be called upon to communicate FAA positions and policies and procedures internally and externally. \nThe selected resource shall provide all items listed at the request of the Director or designee.\nBasic Qualifications:\nBA in Human Resources, or closely related field or if no BA degree, a minimum of 8 years of progressively responsible staffing, talent acquisition, or related HR experience is required.\n8 years of progressively responsible staffing, talent acquisition, or related HR experience.\nMS Office Suite proficiency\nMust have experience with Classifications. \nFederal Government Staffing or Human Resources experience\nIf you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
