The successful candidate will work collaboratively with engineering, logistics, and technical teams to evaluate complex systems, develop maintenance and repair strategies, and deliver cost-effective solutions that enhance operational readiness and long-term system supportability.\nPrimary Responsibilities\nConduct Level of Repair Analysis (LORA) to determine the most cost-effective maintenance and repair strategies for Navy combat systems and associated equipment.\nPerform Failure Modes, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA) to evaluate potential equipment failures, assess operational impacts, and identify maintenance and reliability requirements.\nAnalyze reliability and maintainability data, including Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) and Mean Time To Repair (MTTR), to support maintenance planning and life cycle cost assessments.\nEvaluate and recommend appropriate organizational, intermediate, and depot-level maintenance and repair requirements based on technical, operational, and economic considerations.\nApply engineering principles across multiple technical disciplines to assess system supportability, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop effective life cycle sustainment solutions.\nDevelop and support maintenance planning, repair recommendations, and provisioning requirements to improve system availability, reliability, and long-term supportability.\nReview engineering drawings, technical documentation, equipment specifications, and reliability data to support engineering assessments and logistics product development.\nCollaborate with multidisciplinary engineering, provisioning, technical documentation, and Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) teams to ensure maintenance and repair requirements are accurately identified and documented.\nPrepare technical analyses, reports, and recommendations supporting program requirements and customer deliverables.\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Systems, or related discipline) with 2-5 years of relevant experience.\nExperience in engineering analysis, maintenance planning, reliability engineering, maintainability analysis, logistics engineering, or life cycle sustainment.\nAbility to interpret technical documentation, engineering drawings, and equipment specifications.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills.\nDemonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, multidisciplinary technical environment.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nMust be a US Citizen and eligible to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance.\nAbility to travel occasionally as required.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience supporting U.S. Navy systems, defense electronics, military platforms, or other complex technical systems.\nFamiliarity with Level of Repair Analysis (LORA), Failure Modes, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA), or Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM) engineering.\nKnowledge of Navy maintenance concepts, including organizational, intermediate, and depot-level maintenance.\nExperience in Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), provisioning, maintenance planning, or logistics product development.\nFamiliarity with life cycle cost analysis, reliability-centered maintenance, or logistics support analysis.\nExperience collaborating across multiple engineering disciplines to develop technical solutions.\nActive DoD Secret security clearance.\nIf you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
