Whiteley, Hampshire\nClearance Required: This role will require attainment and maintenance of SC clearance\nWe are looking for an Integration Tester to join our team to help us deliver a large-scale systems integration programme.\nAs part of a multi discipline team the successful candidate will be responsible for the design, writing and execution of test cases, as assigned by the Test Lead. The successful candidate will interface with multiple teams, and with Customer stakeholders to create and execute tests. The role will require the ability to effectively communicate with all members of the team, ranging from technical personnel to programme leadership.\nThe role includes executing tests across a variety of software products, their interfaces and network & infrastructure configurations, and identifying and managing resulting defects.\nWhat will I be doing?\nGenerating Test Cases by reviewing of requirements and design documentation, liaising with SMEs, suppliers and stakeholders\n\nDocumenting of test results and any defects/reporting progress, risks & issues\n\nInvestigating issues and working with suppliers to identify root cause and resolution\n\nAnalysing data, large datasets and test evidence from suppliers to show compliance to requirements\n\nIdentifying improvements in new and existing processes\n\nWhat does Leidos need from me?\nISTQB/ISEB Foundation Certificate in software testing\n\nAbility to work onsite 2-3 days per week\n\nExcellent understanding of Testing Lifecycle and the different types of testing such as Functional, Non-Functional and Integration Testing\n\nProven track record in developing Software solutions using 1st (1GL) through 3rd (3GL) generation languages (e.g. ADA 83/95, C, C++)\n\nProven Experience using Waterfall and V model development models\n\nProven experience delivering solutions on Linux type operating systems\n\nExperience of using development environments related to 1GL through 3GL generation Languages\n\nAble to estimate and plan own immediate tasks and manage their completion\n\nGood oral and written communication skills, confident in technical and non-technical discussions\n\nGood time management and organisational skills - ability to work with minimal supervision\n\nEnthusiastic, proactive, troubleshooting attitude with a willingness to learn new technologies\n\nExperience of creating Test Cases based on requirements and design documents\n\nPreferred Experience\nExperience of Other Software Development Techniques like Agile development (e.g. Scrum)\n\nExperience of delivering real-time and/or safety-related software\n\nKnowledge of modelling languages (e.g. SysML, UML)\n\nKnowledge of procedural and object orientated software development languages (e.g. Ada, C, C++ & Java)\n\nKnowledge of scripting languages (e.g. Python)\n\nKnowledge of COTS integration technologies (e.g. Apache)\n\nWorking with large-scale and complex integration programmes\n\nExperience with service oriented architecture\n\nATM knowledge would be advantageous but is not a pre-requisite\n\nWhat we do for you:\nAt Leidos we are PASSIONATE about customer success, UNITED as a team and INSPIRED to make a difference.
