The Asset Manager will be responsible for all IT assets, documentation, due diligence activities, interfacing with other departments to maintain alignment and resolve issues and managing key IT asset resources.\nReporting into the Service Delivery Manager (SDM) and ITAM Team lead to ensure the HAM service model is fit for operational purpose, support and management (maintainable and adaptable) and in line with the Customer and Leidos Configuration Management strategy.\nTechnical Expertise: Proficiency in managing hardware, software, and network components over the life cycle.\nDocumentation and Reporting: Ensure precise documentation and regular reporting on asset management activities.\nAgile Knowledge: Familiarity with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) to efficiently work within an agile environment.\nAsset Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for all IT assets, ensuring compliance with ITIL standards.\nDue Diligence: Conduct due diligence activities to ensure full lifecycle compliance and efficiency of IT asset management.\nInter-departmental Coordination: Interface with other departments to ensure alignment and resolve issues promptly.\nMonitoring and Reporting: Manage, monitor, and report on the status of the IT asset management program.\nOptimization: Develop and implement strategies for optimizing the IT asset inventory and lifecycle management.\nStakeholder Interaction: Interface with customer and stakeholders to ensure that requirements are met and issues are addressed efficiently.\nCollaborating with Programme or Project Management and Leidos procurement to ensure the identification and managed introduction of new or replacement Assets and Configuration Items.\nWorking closely with the Service Operations team to ensure that implemented or changed services are capable of delivering to target service levels and performance indicators.\nYOUR KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE\nYou will have experience in managing IT Assets within enterprise environments. Good understanding of the IT technologies infrastructure components and business processes.
