The IT Infrastructure Security Specialist will perform tasks associated with conducting employee background checks, processing and coordinating personnel security clearance investigations, and ensuring compliance with security policies and procedures.\nThe IT Infrastructure Security Specialist will:\nAnalyze security alerts, investigate cyber and physical security incidents, and coordinate response actions.\nConduct vulnerability assessments and risk evaluations across IT and facility environments.\nMonitor and correlate cyber and physical access events to identify potential insider threats or unauthorized access.\nImplement and maintain security controls for networks, servers, virtualization platforms, cloud services, and supporting facilities.\nCoordinate implementation and sustainment of physical security measures including controlled access systems, surveillance systems (CCTV), intrusion detection systems (IDS), and badge/access management for data centers and IT spaces.\nManage receipt of security documents submitted from applicants.\nVerify the appropriate level of background investigation being requested.\nEnsure all documents required for suitability processing are included and completed properly.\nConduct agency checks and evaluates results including but not limited to credit reports and processing fingerprint cards.\nIdentify potential reciprocity and previous investigations.\nAssist other teams (Investigations, EOD, File Room, etc.) on special projects as needed.\nRequired Education and Experience:\nRequires a current Secret Security Clearance.\nRequires a Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of prior IT relevant experience or Master’s degree with 6 + years of prior IT relevant experience.\nRequired Skills:\nAbility to consistently make good decisions through a combination of analysis, experience, and judgment.\nStrong organizational skills with the ability to work on multiple projects with multiple deadlines.\nExcellent written, verbal, visual/presentation, interpersonal and communications skills.\nMS Office and the ability to navigate between multiple programs simultaneously.\nClearance Required:\nMust possess an active Top Secret security clearance at time of consideration. \nECNOMS\nIf you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
