In this role, you will support end user hardware, asset and configuration management, and secure communications systems at Naval Support Activity (NSA) Crane. You'll play an important role in maintaining reliable IT infrastructure while providing technical support to mission critical operations.\nPrimary Responsibilities\nInstall, configure, and maintain hardware and software within desktop computing environments, including thick client workstations, thin clients, VoIP phones, and video teleconferencing systems.\nPerform network switch patching and configuration.\nEnsure security patches are current and successfully applied.\nDevelop test specifications and procedures.\nAssist with the design, engineering, installation, configuration, accreditation, and scheduling of voice and video communication systems.\nSupport asset management activities, including inventory, relocation, repair, removal, and destruction of equipment.\nTroubleshoot and resolve technical issues while responding to emergent support requirements in an effective and timely manner.\nDeliver training to rotating military personnel on system configuration, hardware repair, and secure audio and video communications to enhance technical proficiency.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor degree with 1+ year of experience, Associate degree with 3+ year of experience or a High school diploma / GED with 5+ years of experience.\nActive TS/SCI clearance in DISS and required program access.\nOne of the following active certifications:CompTIA A+\nCompTIA Network+\nCompTIA Security+\nBICSI ITS Installer 2 (Fiber Optic) certification within six months of hire\nCISSP\nCASP\n\nExperience supporting Windows, Linux, and Unix based infrastructure.\nExperience using ServiceNow Action Request System or an equivalent ticketing system.\nProficiency with Microsoft business tools.\nFamiliarity with Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM).\nExcellent oral and written communication skills.\nNITESONI\nDABAOPP1\nIf you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
