In this role, you'll provide solution that powers critical Coast Guard operations, driving innovation that directly impacts national security.\nReady to engineer solutions that matter?\nPrimary Responsibilities\nWe are seeking an experienced UiPath Automation Engineer to design, develop, and deploy enterprise-grade Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions. This role will lead automation initiatives from discovery through production support, mentor junior developers, and help mature our RPA Center of Excellence (CoE) practices, governance, and delivery standards.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, develop, test, and deploy end-to-end automation workflows using UiPath Studio, Orchestrator, and related components (REFramework, Queues, Assets, Triggers)\n\nLead process discovery and solution design sessions with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable automation solutions\n\nArchitect reusable components and libraries to accelerate development and enforce coding standards\n\nIntegrate UiPath bots with enterprise systems (APIs, databases, ERP/CRM platforms, document processing tools such as Document Understanding/IXP)\n\nImplement exception handling, logging, and monitoring frameworks to ensure production stability\n\nConduct code reviews, establish best practices, and mentor junior/mid-level developers\n\nManage bot deployment lifecycle including CI/CD pipelines, version control, and Orchestrator administration\n\nTroubleshoot and resolve production incidents; perform root cause analysis for bot failures\n\nSupport RPA CoE governance: documentation standards, PDD/SDD creation, ROI tracking, and pipeline intake processes\n\nStay current with UiPath platform updates (Automation Cloud, AI Center, Action Center, Test Suite) and recommend adoption where relevant\n\nCollaborate with security/infrastructure teams to ensure automations meet compliance and data-handling requirements\n\nBasic Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) and 2-4 years of experience.\n\n2+ years of hands-on RPA development experience, with 2+ years specifically in UiPath\n\nUiPath Certified Advanced RPA Developer (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)\n\nStrong proficiency in UiPath Studio, Orchestrator, REFramework, and Robot deployment/administration\n\nSolid understanding of .NET, VB.NET or C#, and object-oriented programming concepts\n\nExperience with SQL and relational databases\n\nExperience integrating automations with APIs (REST/SOAP) and enterprise applications\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to troubleshoot complex workflow issues\n\nExcellent communication skills; ability to work directly with business and technical stakeholders\n\nExperience with UiPath, Ansible, AWS console, Elastic, AWS, Azure, Jira, Confluence, Git, Bitbucket and various cloud Software as a Service (SaaS) offerings\n\nActive Public Trust clearance already in hand a plus\n\nAbility to obtain an Entry of Duty (EOD) Public Trust\n\nCertifications\nCandidate must, at a minimum, have one of these certifications:\n\nUiPath Certified Advanced RPA Developer, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, AWS Certified Developer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Developer Associate, Azure Solutions Architect\n\nIf you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
