As a core member of the Electrical Engineering team, you will play a valuable part in supporting and executing a wide range of projects and programs supporting several aerial intelligence platforms.\nIf this sounds like the kind of environment where you can thrive, keep reading!\nThe Electrical Engineer is responsible for supporting the design and development of electrical systems for various aerospace platforms and will contribute to the development of mission-critical systems and subsystems throughout the entire design lifecycle: from initial concepts to production to integration and testing. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a strong technical and analytical background who can work effectively with inter-disciplinary teams to create solutions to unique engineering challenges. The designer will work closely with electrical, mechanical, structural, and systems engineers, as well as manufacturing and integration teams, to support a range of aviation systems including power distribution, communications, RF, radar, and more. The chosen candidate will be expected to thrive in a fast-paced, small team environment that emphasizes learning, leadership, and growth.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDesign and develop electrical systems and subsystems for airborne ISR platforms, including power, RF, networking, and communications.\nDevelop and maintain electrical schematics using AutoCAD Electrical, including single line drawings, cable assemblies, and wiring schematics.\nSupport production, integration, and testing of electrical components and schematics.\nCollaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams to develop complex engineering solutions.\nContribute to technical documentation and design reviews, both internal and customer-facing.\nPerform peer-reviews of electrical drawing packages to ensure consistently high-quality work.\nBasic qualifications:\nEntry-Level Electrical Engineer:\nBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 0-2 years of relevant experience; additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.\nExperience using CAD software such as AutoCAD Electrical.\nElectrical cable design experience.\nFamiliarity with electrical design processes and best practices.\nAble to access various areas of different aircraft types, which may involve kneeling, stooping, standing, and lifting weights.\nAble to perform on-aircraft surveys in confined spaces against 2D drawings.\nMust be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET Security Clearance.\nMust be a U.S. citizen\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience in avionics systems and airborne navigation, communication, and imaging sensor systems.\nExperience supporting DoD or aerospace programs.\nStrong problem-solving and analytical abilities.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nExperience with cable manufacturing processes, RF electronics design, and/or PCB design.\nAMSOPP1\nIf you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
