In this role, you will drive the development, maintenance, and integration of large-scale systems engineering models using DoDAF in support of our customers’ mission. This is an exciting opportunity to drive a model design and apply hands-on experience with SysML, Cameo Systems Modeler, and collaborative model management in a dynamic engineering environment.\nYou will be supporting the design and delivery of network services (subsea, terrestrial and Satellite Communication (SATCOM) backup) that will meet the requirement of the Tactical Multi-Mission Over-the-Horizon Radar (TACMOR) program. The network services will include the management, on-island communications, off-island communications, and an integration facility to be used to ensure consistent interfaces and end-to-end service delivery.\nThe successful candidate will work closely with the chief engineer, system design team, system modelers and other technical disciplines to develop and maintain authoritative system models, establish and maintain requirements traceability, validate model integrity, and support the adoption of MBSE practices across engineering teams. Qualified applicants must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in an environment with evolving priorities and technically complex requirements.\nThis position is 100% remote (US based location) with travel to both CONUS and OCONUS locations.\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nDevelop, maintain, and expand large-scale SysML models using Cameo Systems Modeler using DoDAF.\nDevelop and maintain system architecture and engineering artifacts including Block Definition Diagrams (BDD), Internal Block Diagrams (IBD), Requirements, Use Case, Activity, Sequence diagrams. Develop MBSE output from Cameo to include ICD, IDD, SDD, RVTM, and other engineering artifacts to support design reviews and testing processes using Cameo Report Wizard.\nManage collaborative model development using Cameo Teamwork Cloud.\nEstablish and maintain traceability between system requirements and model artifacts using Cameo.\nReview models developed by other engineers for quality, consistency, completeness, and adherence to established modeling practices.\nSupport the development, documentation, and implementation of MBSE modeling standards, processes, and best practices.\nCollaborate with systems engineers, software engineers, and other technical disciplines to translate engineering requirements and concepts into structured system models.\nProvide technical guidance and mentoring to engineers adopting MBSE practices and modeling tools.\nSupport customer technical meetings, engineering reviews, demonstrations, and capability briefings as required.\nIdentify opportunities to improve engineering processes through expanded use of MBSE, modeling, simulation, and digital engineering practices.\nSupport requirements analysis, system integration, technical assessments, and other systems engineering activities as needed.\nProvide engineering technical support to special projects as required.\nBasic Qualifications:\nBS engineering degree and 12+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters engineering degree and 10+ years prior relevant experience. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.\nU.S. citizenship; Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.\nExperience in basic systems engineering and leading system design for a DoW customer.\nHands-on experience performing Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) using SysML.\nExperience using Cameo Systems Modeler.\nExperience developing and maintaining system models using multiple SysML diagram types.\nExperience with requirements traceability and management within a systems engineering environment.\nExperience collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nExperience with Cameo Systems Modeler 2024x or later.\nExperience with Cameo Teamwork Cloud.\nExperience with Cameo Collaborator.\nExperience developing or implementing MBSE modeling standards and processes.\nExperience providing mentorship or technical guidance to other engineers adopting MBSE practices.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nActive Secret clearance.\nFamiliarity with Agile development methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence/SharePoint.\nExperience with Python, scripting, or other automation capabilities applied to engineering or modeling tasks.\nExperience with systems integration, modeling and simulation, or digital engineering environments.\nPrevious experience working DAF systems.\nPlease be advised that during the interview, you will be required to keep your camera on, and your interviewer will be taking your picture for identification purposes if an offer letter is extended to you.\nDABAOPP1\nIf you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
