A successful candidate will develop an understanding of the services offered to external organizations, provide lifecycle systems engineering support to development and operations on the program, and use a combination of technical and functional expertise to recommend solutions to satisfy customer requirements.\nThis position requires the ability to work a Panama shift schedule, including weekends and holidays\nResponsibilities:\n· Administer and maintain Linux systems across multiple program environments, supporting both operational and development needs.\n· Support cloud initiatives that meet evolving customer requirements.\n· Administer program-owned collaboration applications, including Atlassian Jira, Confluence, and RocketChat.\n· Manage user accounts and resolve application access issues.\n· Monitor system performance, respond quickly to anomalies, and independently make configuration changes to maintain 99.9% system availability.\n· Coordinate with enterprise partners during outages and make failover decisions across availability zones or data centers.\n· Perform system checkouts and test upgrades and patches in operational environments.\n· Partner with Enterprise Services to ensure compliance with security requirements.\n· Document incidents, workarounds, root cause analyses, and corrective actions.\n· Develop user guides and operational procedures for program tools, including custom Linux scripts and tailored COTS products.\n· Coordinate communications with end users, Tier 1 and Tier 3 support, management, mission partners, and government leadership.\nBasic Qualifications\n· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, plus 2-4 years of experience as a Systems Administrator or in a similar technical role.\n· Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and willingness to be approved for a CI Poly\n· Strong Linux background and familiarity with infrastructure management best practices.\n· Experience with Agile collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, and RocketChat.\n· Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.\n· Excellent oral and written communication skills.\n· Proactive self-starter with a positive, collaborative attitude.\n· Ability to work a Panama shift schedule, including weekends and holidays.\nPreferredQualifications:\n· Experience with AWS or other cloud service providers and cloud-based architectures.\n· Familiarity with cross-domain architectures at multiple levels.\n· Experience with automated testing and monitoring tools.\n· Experience with Engineering Review Boards and Change Management processes.\nIf you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
