The ideal candidate will have experience with waterfront maintenance activity, schedule management, supply support, and training management.\nThe Logistics Program Manager will lead logistics planning, management, and execution for Navy FOTS surface combatant program requirements. As strategic leader, the successful candidate will coordinate logistics requirements across engineering, technical, production, installation, maintenance, contractor, and subcontractor teams to ensure integrated program execution.\nPrimary Responsibilities.\nLead logistics planning, management, and execution for Navy FOTS surface combatant program requirements. \nServe as the primary logistics interface with the Program Manager, Government stakeholders, NAVSEA, NSWC activities, planning yards, shipyards, and other logistics organizations. \nDirect Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) activities, including maintenance planning, supply support, training, technical documentation, support equipment, and related logistics requirements. \nDevelop and maintain logistics plans, schedules, milestones, and resource requirements aligned with overall program objectives. \nCoordinate logistics activities across engineering, technical, production, installation, maintenance, contractor, and subcontractor teams to ensure integrated program execution. \nManage maintenance planning activities and ensure maintenance and support requirements are identified and incorporated into program execution. \nManage supply support activities, including provisioning, spares, repair parts, material requirements, and resolution of supply issues affecting program performance. \nPlan and oversee training requirements and associated training support for shipboard systems, equipment, operations, and maintenance. \nAssess logistics impacts associated with system modifications, modernization, installation, configuration changes, and maintenance activities and develop recommended solutions. \nMonitor logistics cost, schedule, performance, risks, deliverables, and dependencies and implement corrective actions as required. \nPrepare and present logistics status, risks, issues, recommendations, briefings, and deliverables to Government and program leadership. \nLead logistics planning and execution supporting Foreign Military Sales (FMS) requirements and coordinate activities with U.S. Government and international stakeholders. \nLead logistics risk management activities and implement mitigation strategies to support readiness, availability, and lifecycle supportability. \nEnsure logistics activities and deliverables comply with contractual requirements and applicable Navy, NAVSEA, DoD, and FMS policies and processes.\nBasic Qualifications.\nBachelor’s degree and 10+ years of prior relevant experience in , including at least five (5) years of experience in Navy Project Management involving all aspects of the Logistics Support Planning and Execution on surface combatant programs, and five (5) years of experience in logistics planning and execution activities supporting a surface combatant program/project office (i.e., NAVSEA, NSWC, planning yards) to include experience in maintenance planning, supply support, and training\nDemonstrated experience with Foreign Military Sales programs\nDemonstrated experience managing logistics for geographically dispersed and/or OCONUS (Outside Continental United States) operating environments.\nStrong technical writing, editing, analytical, and information organization skills, with the ability to communicate complex, technical tasks clearly and concisely.\nAbility to work independently, manage rapidly changing priorities, and effectively lead cross-functional initiatives in a fast-paced environment.\nWillingness and ability to travel internationally and work in maritime, industrial, or forward-deployed environments, including visits onboard vessels in port.\nActive Secret clearance\nPreferred Qualifications.\nCurrent PMP Certification is preferred.\nIf you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
