Apply and share your resume with us today!\nPrimary Responsibilitie s\nDefine manufacturing processes needed for the build process: equipment requirements, space requirements, tooling, capex, etc.\nImplement procedures & techniques to transform raw materials into finished products efficiently and effectively.\nUse of MES software (Solumina) to implement, track, monitor, and control manufacturing processes, ensuring quality, efficiency, and compliance.\nGeneration and maintenance of Manufacturing Bill of Materials (mBOMS).\nGenerate routings inside Solumina to account for accurate run times.\nIdentify and execute on continuous improvement projects.\nIdentify and reduce risks in the production processes.\nPlan and maintain production flow through MRP system, including change management and make/buy designation.\nResponsible for executing Configuration & Data Management processes & controls for managing & tracking changes.\nDefine manufacturing processes, procedures and production flow for assembly, integration & test of products.\nCoordinate production workflow for one or multiple projects.\nResolve technical problems as required.\nMonitor production status of jobs to ensure they meet schedule requirements & report job status to management using spreadsheets, custom reports, etc.\nCollaborate with Engineering, Quality Assurance, Operations Leads, and Inventory Control.\nProvide technical leadership for delivering, maintaining, and improving hardware delivery that meets our customer’s demands.\nInterface with design and operations team to understand roadblocks impeding production flow.\nDisposition non-conformances of hardware as it is being processed.\nIdentify and execute on continuous improvement projects.\n\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or other technical discipline with 2 - 4 years of applicable experience or a Master’s Degree with less than 2 years prior relevant experience in an engineering field\nMust be capable of performing in a collaborative engineering environment working closely with multi-disciplinary teams.\nExperience with Manufacturing, Assembly & Integration experience with Mechanical or Structural components.\nProficient in CAD software (e.g. Creo, AutoCAD, SolidWorks).\nA self-starter, ability to work tasks with limited direction, as well as provide clarification and instruction to others.\nWorks within integrated teams supporting drawing modification and production activities.\nExperience leading issue resolution in a manufacturing environment.\nStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent communication and teamwork abilities.\nEagerness to learn and grow within the organization.\nProficiency in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).\nCandidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.\nCandidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance.\nPreferred Qualifications\nPrior work in DoD Missile or Aerospace fields.\nPrior experience in tooling and production environments.\nAdditive Manufacturing experience.\nExperience developing or refining manufacturing process plans within an MES system (Solumina preferred).\nExperience managing MBOM updates and engineering revision changes.\nFamiliarity with ERP systems (Costpoint preferred).\nExperience participating in root cause corrective action (RCCA) activities.\nFamiliarity with Lean Manufacturing principles, 5S, and continuous improvement methodologies.\nUnderstanding of cost and schedule implications of typical engineering deliverables.\nExperience working rapidly changing development programs.\nDeltek, Costpoint ERP & MRP, Solumina, Windchill.\nIf you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
