You’ll provide onsite support to CCD at Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek-Fort Story. In this position, you will perform overarching multidisciplinary engineering design and integration service for US Navy small craft (\nPrimary Responsibilities\n· Collaborate with client teammates to develop small craft design solutions.\n· Provide onsite drafting & 3D modelling service to US Navy Combatant Craft Division (Code 83) at Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek - Fort Story.\n· Overarching vessel design 3D modeling and drawings\n· Structural/Scantling modeling\nBasic Qualifications\nU.S. Citizenship\nActive DoD secret security clearance\nB.S. Degree or higher in engineering, naval architecture, or related field\nMinimum 2 years’ engineering experience (non-nuclear)\nBroad knowledge of marine engineering and an in-depth knowledge of principles, practices and related technologies\nKnowledge of specifications and regulatory requirements (BS/RINA/LR/ISO/USCG/ABYC)\nStrong time management and organization skills as an independent contributor\nDemonstrated experience solving technical problems using first principles hand calculations and devising new approaches to challenges encountered. \nProficiency in using marine industry CAD software, including SolidWorks\nDemonstrated interpersonal skills as a member of a collaborative multidisciplinary team\nStrong analytical skills, communication, and interpersonal skills\nExcellent MS Office skills, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel\nPreferred Qualifications\n· Shipyard or boatyard experience\n· Professional certificates of competency in applicable CAD & engineering software\nIf you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
