This is a dynamic opportunity in which talented mechanical engineer interns can thrive working on a diverse array of multidisciplinary projects in the airborne systems arena.\nPrimary Responsibilities\nSupport engineering design and integration activities for aspects of airborne systems (missiles and unmanned aircraft).\nDevelop conceptual CAD models and produce engineering drawings.\nWork collaboratively with project team(s) to formulate innovative solutions to complex problems and products across a broad range of applications.\nWork in a lab environment testing and assembling hardware.\nBasic Qualifications\nApplicant must be actively working toward a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent from an ABET accredited college or university.\nApplicant must be a US Citizen.\nApplicant must have an overall GPA of 3.2 or above.\nAbility to perform physical work such as lifting up to 30-lbs.\nKnowledge of and ability to use common hand tools.\nApplicant must be willing to work in-office in Huntsville, AL.\nPreferred Qualifications\nUnderstanding of ASME Y14.5 GD&T standard\nExperience with SolidWorks CAD Software\nDesire to solve complex technical problems and learn from a team of experienced engineers\nIf you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
