The business also builds capabilities that can be used for a wide range of applications in both traditional and non-traditional environments; providing leadership in the advancement of technological modernisation of complex enterprises within Government.\nThe Opportunity\nLeidos Australia is seeking multiple experienced Network Administrators to join our GEOSPACES program, supporting advanced national security technology in a secure, high-compliance government environment. You’ll help keep mission-essential network services available, secure and performing reliably.\nIn this role, you will:\nManage and maintain network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls and wireless access points, supporting the availability and performance of critical data and voice networks.\nProvide Level 2 and Level 3 incident response, troubleshooting complex network and connectivity issues and restoring services with minimal operational disruption.\nImplement and maintain network security controls, including firewall policies and monitoring, to protect services from unauthorised access and cyber threats.\nConfigure network devices, monitor performance and capacity, identify opportunities for optimisation, and maintain accurate network topology, configuration and procedural documentation.\nAbout You\nYou’ll bring practical network administration experience and the technical capability to troubleshoot and maintain enterprise networks in a secure operational environment.\nEssential:\nExperience with networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs and routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP.\nHands-on experience administering enterprise networking technologies such as Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto or Fortinet.\nExperience managing and troubleshooting firewalls, network security devices and associated security policies.\nCapability in diagnosing and resolving complex network issues using network analysis and monitoring tools such as Wireshark or SolarWinds.\nAbility to maintain clear and accurate technical documentation covering network configurations, topology and operational procedures.\nAdvantageous:\nExperience providing Level 2 or Level 3 support within complex, secure or high-availability network environments.\nExperience supporting network performance monitoring, capacity management and optimisation activities.\nYou don’t need to meet every criterion.
