This is a hands-on learning opportunity with guidance, mentorship, and appropriately scoped projects.\nPrimary Responsibilities\nAssist with small AI and automation projects, including prototypes that summarize IT service tickets, performance measures, or operational trends.\nHelp prepare, organize, and review datasets used for dashboards, reporting, and AI experiments.\nExperiment with prompts and simple AI-agent workflows, document results, and suggest improvements with team guidance.\nWrite or update basic scripts, queries, or lightweight interfaces using familiar tools such as Python or JavaScript.\nSupport testing and troubleshooting by identifying issues, recording observations, and helping validate outputs.\nParticipate in team meetings and Agile activities; share progress, ask questions, and document work for other team members.\nBasic Qualifications\nCurrently enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.\nUS citizenship required.\nCoursework, academic projects, or personal projects involving programming, data analysis, or AI/ML concepts.\nIntroductory experience with Python, JavaScript, or another programming language.\nInterest in learning about generative AI, automation, and IT service management.\nAbility to communicate clearly, collaborate with a team, and learn new tools with guidance.\nAbility to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance, as applicable to the position.\nPreferred Qualifications\nFamiliarity with APIs, SQL, data visualization, or basic web development through coursework or projects.\nExposure to large language models, prompt engineering, or AI-assisted development tools.\nInterest in IT operations, service management platforms, or Agile software development.\nExperience collaborating on a student team, internship, research project, or open-source project.\nIf you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
