Working across cloud and hybrid infrastructure, you’ll help create secure, reliable, and scalable solutions that enable teams to deliver applications efficiently and with confidence.\nIn this role, you will:\nDesign, implement and support cloud and hybrid platforms that provide a secure, resilient foundation for business-critical applications and services.\n\nDrive automation across infrastructure and application delivery through Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, scripting, and deployment tooling, reducing manual effort and improving operational efficiency.\n\nEnhance platform reliability, performance and security by implementing monitoring, observability, vulnerability remediation, lifecycle management, and operational best practices.\n\nPartner closely with developers, architects, cybersecurity specialists, infrastructure teams and business stakeholders to improve platform capabilities, simplify deployment processes, and deliver continuous improvements across the technology landscape.\n\nAbout You\nYou are a technology professional who enjoys solving complex problems, improving operational outcomes, and building platforms that enable teams to work more effectively. You bring a collaborative approach and are comfortable working across technical and business stakeholders to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable solutions.\nEssential:\nExperience in platform engineering, DevOps, cloud engineering, infrastructure engineering, systems administration, or a related technology discipline.\n\nHands-on experience with public cloud and hybrid environments, including AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, or similar platforms.\n\nExperience with Infrastructure as Code, automation frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and modern DevOps practices.\n\nCapability in scripting and automation using technologies such as Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar languages.\n\nWorking knowledge of operating systems, networking, APIs, databases, storage, DNS, and enterprise infrastructure environments.\n\nExperience with containerisation and orchestration technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.\n\nKnowledge of monitoring, logging, observability, Git, and version control practices.\n\nUnderstanding of security principles, identity and access management, secrets management, compliance requirements, and platform security controls.\n\nWell-developed analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.\n\nAbility to communicate clearly, build productive stakeholder relationships, and manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.\n\nAdvantageous:\nExperience with Terraform, Ansible, Helm, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar automation and deployment platforms.\n\nExposure to observability and monitoring tools such as Elastic, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, Datadog, or equivalent technologies.\n\nKnowledge of cloud security, DevSecOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), cost optimisation, capacity planning, and resilience practices.\n\nFamiliarity with Agile, ITIL, or other service management methodologies.\n\nRelevant cloud, DevOps, Kubernetes, infrastructure, or cybersecurity certifications.\n\nA degree, diploma, equivalent practical experience, or relevant professional certification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, cloud technologies, DevOps, infrastructure, Kubernetes, or cybersecurity.\n\nThis role requires the successful applicant to be an Australian citizen and hold an NV-1 security clearance.\nIf this role interests you, we encourage you to apply.
