Join us and make a difference in National Security!\nJob Description\nThe Principal Network Engineermaintains enterprise network infrastructure to ensure proper configuration, availability, performance, capacity, and maintenance (including application of the latest patches and upgrades). They will also monitor technology obsolescence, manage upgrades, and evaluate alternatives across on-premises and cloud IT infrastructures, both virtual and physical.\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nResponsible for architecture, design, installation, configuration, administration, support, and maintenance of networks, including associated hardware and cloud resources. \nUpdate to new technologies, tuning performance, and prioritizing the implementation of critical system patches.\nPerforms risk assessment, risk mitigation analysis, vendor trade studies, and appropriate documentation to ensure network services are available according to established Service Level Agreements (SLA).\nEnsures continuity of operations including disaster recovery\nMonitors operations and collects and evaluates metrics to manage network services and for inclusion into project KPIs and Service Level Agreements (SLA).\nBasic Qualifications:\nBachelor’s with 12 or more years of prior relevant experience or a Masters with 10 or more years of prior relevant experience. Additional years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.\nMust have an active TS/SCI with a Polygraph, to be considered.\nExperience providing technical/management leadership on major tasks or technology assignments; and establishing goals and plans that meet project objectives; with domain and expert technical knowledge.\nMaster level experience with Cisco and Nexus Architecture with experience with designing, configuring, and troubleshooting enterprise-level Cisco/Nexus networking hardware (9K/7K/5K/2K).\nExpert experience with IP, Routing and Connection services as well as working on ITIL and SAFe Agile Frameworks.\nAbility to analyze available hardware and software from external vendors and make recommendations for purchase and installation, along with documented experience creating maintaining and implanting detailed documentation for standard systems operating procedures\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience architecting and securing hybrid or multi-cloud environments\nExperience developing DevOps infrastructure using GitHub, Jenkins, Ansible and related tools\nCCNA\nIf you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
